We will speak with Jessica!! She started her nursing journey in 2009 when she earned her Associates Degree in Nursing and she didn't stop there. In 2018, she received her Doctoral degree in Nursing Practice, from Samford University. While there, she focused her research on patient education and medication adherence and developed an adherence
therapy tool that can be used in various clinical settings to assess risk of medication non-adherence and methods to improve medication adherence, to patient-provider collaboration and education.
Dr. Chung was inducted into the prestigious Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society on May 3rd, 2018.
In 2019, one of Dr. Chung's dreams came true when she opened her own private practice, J.C. Healthcare & Associates in Tampa, FL. She provides a wide variety of healthcare services to patients of all ages. She is now accepting appointments.
She is an educator of nursing students, a researcher, a prolific speaker, a healthcare provider, business owner, and one that has a heart and passion for mentoring students of all academic levels, in hopes of them obtaining higher education and professional success.
She has been known to emphatically state that she does not look at the profession of being a healthcare provider as just a career, but as a God-given gift and calling.
