Your rationale re: lions vs. pokemon is 100% accurate. Not to mention all the pokemon that could be taken down by one lion super easily like sunkern and all the baby pokemon.

Okay, but what if an electrode uses an AOE explosion? Thats gotta take a buncha lions out. Also couldn’t some pokemon use double team or smthn to make the Lions run out of PP?

That’s a really interesting thought! Double teaming to make lions miss. Begs the question though, what’s the setting here? Do the lions have PP like Pokémon do or do they just have stamina like they do in real life? Do the lions and Pokémon get to take breaks for sleeping or is this like a fighting until everyone is dead kind of deal? Plus double team doesn’t make Pokémon immune, they can still get hit (RIP my gardevoir Ashido from emerald who got critical after double teaming) I think the explosion might not work because I’m not sure the surface area of the explosion would kill off all of the lions, and in some games explosion hits teammates as well I think so that might even take out some of the Pokémon. We know that explosion hits All Pokémon on the field, but what is it’s true maximum surface area?? Spread moves also do less damage when there are more targets 🤔

@@EZDoodles if pokedex entries were in here, lions are screwed, everytime Entei barks, a volcano appears, so yeah, that would just wipe off maybe like 10% of the lions

Dude great video like always. You're so close to 6k!! But unfortunately with the lions question you're objectively wrong. I give you Magcargo's Black and white pokedex entry "Its body temperature is roughly 18,000 degrees F. Flames spout from gaps in its hardened shell" that's almost half as hot as the surface of the sun. Idk about you but I don't think a lion could survive the sun lol

Hmmm fair, but I also think Pokédex entries tend to be a bit exaggerated. Like if that was the case how do people interact with magcargo? Or if looking into a shedinjas back crack steals a persons spirit wouldn’t every shedinja owner be spiritless because the back sprite is literally the back crack xD if the Rex entry was true also magcargo would be OP as heck bc even Pokémon should be injured by that kind of heat but unfortunately magcargo is not the best boii But yes if all Pokédex entries of Pokémon were true then the lions (and all humanity at that) would be doomed even if they could beat every Pokémon because apparently yveltal sucks the life energy of literally every living thing when it dies xD

Ok I see were you come from on the lion debate but how would any amount of lions damage steelix or meta gross. I my opinion pokemon would win just because the lions would no be able to damage some pokemon enough. Also magcaro is hotter than the sun lions wouldn't be able to hit it. But I respect you opinion

assuming lions can do at least 1 HP of damage to steel types with scratch or slash attacks, I definitely think that the (at least) 1 mil allotted to each pokemon would be able to wither down the HP enough. Maybe lions could spit on Magcargo? xD But yes the Magcargo problem does seem to be coming up a lot.

Haha yes if Pokédex entries were true then I suppose the lions would lose, but it would also mean that froslass eat men, drifbloon steals children, many ghost types are people, and your Sliggo thinks your food and will try to slowly disintegrate your body xD
