I came here trying to see how Dave Gahan (Depeche Mode) pronounces the S's so well, but after watching this video I realized that he actually pronounces the letter that comes before the S! Like the T in ghosts. That was all the magic! (el español es mi idioma y con el inglés, si bien lo entiendo, dejo mucho que desear en pronunciacion)

BTW, Depeche Mode’s new album is excellent!!

Aaaahhhhhh! YEARS spent trying to get the Ts and the Ks in those words! And still sound as close to native as possible. My gut kept telling me "there's no T!", finally someone admitted it out in the open! Thank you!!

also with the past tense pronunciation. I've always been taught when to pronounce past tense /t/, /d/, or /ed/ but I hear many times some word endings which supposed to be pronounced as /t/ be pronounced as /d/. The mainstream English drives me crazy.

I have auditory processing disorder AND hearing problems. English is my first and only language. However, nuanced sounds have been a challenging experience to say the least. Thank you for this video! I some times “forget” how to pronounce sounds because I cannot hear/differentiate them on a daily basis. Thanks again!!!!!

Probably it would be good to point that out too so that they won't have a hell of time thinking they are stupid not being able to pronounce them.
