The wild animal you should fear the most for the safety of Blue are coyotes. They're in every state now and they are intelligent opportunist. They can sense a lone dog and see that as a meal opportunity for the pack. I've spent quite a bit if time in rural Arizona and the ranchers there have told me that you dont want to have a lone outdoor dog roaming around freely. Not to be preachy, but keeping him close by especially after dark is a good thing. Love the content of your channel, safe travels!

For the east coast, I did a car camping trip in June. I stayed overnight in Cracker Barrel parking lots. It was awesome. They are super friendly. Plus they open at 7am (for the morning bathroom needs). I called ahead to verify they took overnighters. They told me to park in the RV section. Ask where those spots are located. BTW I am over 50. You can definitely car camp as you get older.

Thanks so much for answering my questions. For the record, I'm a regular woman. 😁 Ever since my last few relationships, which weren't healthy, I've been completely numb to the idea of dating or meeting someone. People around me act like that's weird because it's been almost 2 years but I see so many women doing van life who don't seem to be interested in dating either. Regardless of what anyone thinks, I'm on earth to live my truth and I will AND it's also nice to know my tribe is out there living their truth too. Thanks again and take care!

Hi Maria, thanks for answering my question. If you are going to drive to Alaska I would strongly recommend teaming up with others and making it a joint road trip as you are in some pretty remote areas and a break down will leave you completely alone. Another channel I follow (Ride and Seek) have just made that trip and did break down but they had 2 fellow adventurers along with them. You will love Banff, but hope you also check out my area of west coast British Columbia too. I also have New Zealand on my bucket list, made it to Australia many times but still need to get to New Zealand. Safe travels :)

Being from New Jersey, there really isn't dispersed camping here. They want you to pay for a campground. When I traveled up and down the east coast last year, I slept in Walmart's, Cracker Barrel's and truck stops, mostly. When I get back on the road in about 8 months from now, I will be heading out west this time. Love your content and following you and Blue's adventures.

When you were asked about whether you have insurance for Blue, I wanted to tell you about Care Credit. Care Credit is a no interest, yes ZERO, credit card you can get to cover medical expenses for yourself AND your pet. I have 10 cats and can’t tell you how many times this card has saved my butt. Just look it up online. Easy to apply, get credit limit increases etc. I think it’s a must have for anyone who loves their pets and would spend whatever it takes for their health and welfare. Having bear spray and a fire extinguisher is something I keep with me always, both can save you and Blue's life's. I love the snow too and get so excited when a major snow storm is coming, I charge up everything (solar gens, power packs, cell phone) food for 10 days and then charge into it. I am happy that you have not had a bear open your tent at night, you and Blue stay safe out there. p.s.-- I was like a kid at Christmas when I heard you say my name and answered one of my questions, thanks!!
