It's very refreshing to see someone so relatable (who is actually relatable) on yt. I'm the same age as you and recognize myself in a lot of things that you say. It's also really cool I think how you stay true to yourself and aren't "embarrassed" to say certain things, like not having many friends etc

Try living like this, move to another country if necessary, countries in South or central America, or the south of Italy and Spain live just like this, they don’t care about diet culture and beauty standards, they live in the present and enjoy life and food to the fullest, btw they’re really kind and warm, even to foreigners Hope you can live a healthy and happy life, life is beautiful if you learn to enjoy it Hugs from Peru 😊

girl, i am solid 10 years older than you, but i can still totally relate to your experience of moving away from home to a foreign country, not speaking (or just not getting) the language, the culture and missing your family and yet still not regretting the whole exerience. moving away from home takes a lots of courage, it teaches you a lot about the life and you learn to be independent in a way you would never have learned, if you had stayed back home. i love your videos. they always make my day. keep doing good work and stay safe :)

You cannot imagine how much I love this video. I've never related to someone this much I literally feel like I was watching myself talk in the mirror, I have social anxiety and I'm introverted, I have also been living abroad since starting university, I love the same shows and my family is also the most important thing in my life. Feels nice to see someone else go through the same thing. Whenever I tell people that I live alone in another country, they automatically guess that I must be extroverted, super independent (well I am but because I kinda have to), when in reality every day I feel like I have zero social skills and I'm this awkward person. I would really like you to do a video about social anxiety or dating as an introvert. Keep up with the videos, whether they're chatty ones or just vlogs, I always found them very calming
@latiffoo75962 жыл бұрын
Oh my god, I do not like to comment very often, but soooo many of the things you say I can understand so well.. the anxiety thing, the having to go somewhere else to start all over and soo many other "little" things you say. I really feel we have so much in common! So I'm happy to be able to watch your videos. Anyway I think you are such a lovely, sweet person, I'm really glad that I found your channel :D (but actually a bit sad that you are living this far away because I'm in Italy very often :P). Wish you the best! :)

I don't comment a lot but i just need to tell you, your canadian vlogs are not at all boring ! They are really relaxing? Your video of Italy made me discover your channel, but your energy and the way you film is so relaxing to me, it's really comforting. Now, listening to your answers i really understand why! I relate to a lot of what you said. I also lived for a while in Canada (but Montreal) and NYC (as a gap year before university) coming from Europe, and i totally understand not knowing what to respond to "what's up" and feeling like you need to relearn your social skills, you feel awkward and the "chitchat"/what make social interaction "smooth" was so hard for me in that language and culture. So it was way harder to bond, which when you are anxious&introverted is already such a challenge ! I relate to anxiety and depression, and being away from friends and family, my social anxiety was at its peak when i was away (even though i was also really happy to be there, but it's so scary it doesn't help!) i had moments of agoraphobia over there which i never had before. But it's also those experiences that had impact and helped to shape me later on. I relate to a lot of the other things you said, it made me so happy, i understand even better why i loved watching your videos, i have the same myers briggs type as you, i love gilmore girls, i have a similar aesthetic and music style and your style of videos really remind me of youtubers that bring me peace like TheCottageFairy or Jonna Jinton so is so special that you appreciate their videos as well! Continue your videos the way you are making them, the truest to your own self, i promise it's not boring, and thank you very much for making them, they bring me comfort and i love discovering your culture (and fooooood :))))))

I totally get that it’s hard for you to adapt to Canadian lifestyle. Having friends and a social life would probably make a major difference in your experience. Which college did you go to? It is true that North American education is very different from Europe, but it also depends on the institution itself, whether it was private or public, for instance, will defo have an impact. Also, if you’re looking to buy property in urban areas in BC or Ontario, then yes, it’s not affordable. But homes in other provinces and in the suburbs on the outskirts of big cities are wayyyyy less expensive. Some of the taxes can be included in your mortgage payment, and the bank takes care of making the payment to your city so you don’t even see those amounts go by. How did you meet your bf if you’re struggling with social anxiety? 🤗 I feel sad that you’re so isolated and hope you find your happiness. 💗

Thank you 💕I went to Humber College and at the time I signed up for it, it was one of the most affordable colleges for international students. I really wanted to go to U of T, which is supposedly one of the best universities in Toronto, but it costs around 60k a year for international students and I sadly couldn't afford it. So I guess I got what I paid for, but I still paid a lot of money at Humber (14k a year on average for four years) so I feel like I wasted my money for a not so great education 🥲 also yes homes are cheaper outside of Ontario but it took me a while to feel like I'm at "home" here and I think that relocating would just be too much for me at the moment. and we met on Tinder four years ago and he just made me feel really comfortable around him from the very start so it was easier in a way. also when I first moved here I was a little more brave and I really tried making friends and meeting people, unsuccessfully 😅which i guess contributed to my sa getting worse and worse the more time passed
