Would IF be good if you are pre diabetic ? If so what is a good eating window to start out ? I’m 5’4 and 159lbs 37y female

I recommend checking with your doctor since everyone is different (as far as being a pre-diabetic). If your doc gives you the go, as with any new discipline, start slow and build from there. For instance, eat your first meal 1.5 hours later than normal and/or finish your last meal 1.5 hours earlier than normal. You can also start from a 16-hour feeding window, then continue shrinking it down until you discover what works best for you personally.
