I am a CNA, and thought I wanted to go to school for my RN. I've been working on a med surge floor for the past year, and I know that I do NOT want to be a RN now, but I want to still work in healthcare, and this seems like the perfect program to transition to. Thank you for posting about it, I am a new sub and will be watching all your RT videos. There are so many routes in the healthcare profession, it is nice to learn about other things than RN. They are all needed and wonderful in their own way.

Thank you for making this video. I use to be a referral coordinator/medical records person ina. pulmonary clinic where I live and instantly got interested in it. I loved helping patients, even though they were on some bad days, but I understand why. Breathing is big lol. I'm scared to not work full time when I start RT school later this year, but with the help of my parents, I hope to get in smooth and do the damn thing. Just watching your videos today make me look forward to doing this. I work in the ER as registration and watch them do work! I love it. Thank you for explaining things :)

I'm fortunate that my wife is the soul provider with a good paying job in healthcare, so I'm able to go to school and thank to the pandemic Heerf scholarship I'm able to use the money to pay for my one class which 1020 English Composition, unfortunately it's not going to be available next semester; so my wife inform me to not take out any student loans cause she'll be paying for the remaining three classes which is A&P I, II and Microbiology....I'm not only grateful but, blessed.

One of my biggest concerns when getting into the field is burnout and dealing with death. How have you been coping/any advice on that? Thanks keep making more videos! :)
@ceciliaamorena33532 жыл бұрын
I think this is a big concern for most students. Death gets easier to deal with over time. Some situations are going to hit very hard. The best advice I was given was to find your “go to person” and make sure it’s okay with them that you share your grief. Getting your feelings out into the air and learning to let them go is a beautiful thing

I had no idea what it was when I applied lol. I gave it a chance and loved it. It’s for you if you don’t like to sit in one place all day, don’t want to report to anyone (have your own schedule), and like a lot of action 😎 you’ll be put in intense situations more likely than other care providers will face

you absolutely could! you can use any bachelors degree to become a physician. you just have to make sure you do your pre meds and you’re fine! i plan to do rn to md, and i’m not the first to do it! so you’re fine! it might even make you more competitive since you have special background and experience😊
