Usually I don't comment but ur video is very helpful coz what u said regarding sleep n potty training, feeding Is nothing fancy as shown in other nurturing videos. U followed simple ways to deal with this which are normal in nature. After watching other videos, I was very confused as why my child is not following this diet chart, not sleeping for 12 hours straight through the night or doing things stated in those videos. But after watching this video I am relaxed coz I know my child is growing at her own pace in her own way.. thanks again for sharing..

Thank you for writing, I felt exactly the same confusion as you, and wanted to talk about these things. I'm glad it resonates with you!

Hi there, I sharing experience on stretch marks. I am kind of prone to them, during puberty I got them as my body changed and also when doing sports during my 20ies where muscles were built quickly. However, during pregnancy I got 0 more marks, although I took on 15 kg and my belly was stretching. I didn't moisturise partially because when I do and I tried my skin gets pimples anywhere on the body I apply it and partially because my gynecologist said there is no supportive evidence on using special stretch lotions being effective. So I just came in terms with it being a part of the experience and was avaiting it every month since 2nd trimester but they never appeared. I think that the stretch free pregnancy could be either because in my 20ies I changed diet to vegetarianism and relaunched meat only during pregnancy but still keeping lots of veggies and lentils etc. in my diet like I was used to before when they were my main food source. I was also additionally supplementing with C vitamin which is known to support collagen in skin. So this is only my assumption but I think that although genetics was not in my favour in stretches, I gave the skin whatever it needed to be in form (ahead of the pregnancy, not just during) and able to stretch without marks when the time comes for it.

Those are very good points for good health in general! Vitamin C, plenty of vegetables, fruits, good proteins. Thank you so much for taking the time to write!

Since you mentioned, how did you feel as a single child? Did you feel lonely? Do you feel you miss having a sibling now to share everything that happens in life? We feel we must have only 1 child but we worry if that’s a good idea!
@Feelgoodmama4 жыл бұрын
I loved having my parents all to myself when I was younger, but as an adult I do get the importance of sharing a childhood with either siblings or close friends/relatives.

Hi Vidya, Please enlighten us how to raise your child while living with your in laws who are not educated. Especially mothers in law who constantly try to teach things that are not healthy for children's mind. For example: comparison with other children etc

When will babies start to sleep by themselves..My baby is just 2.5 months but elders blame me for carrying him in shoulder to make him sleep...for it may habituate him...Am incorrect or should I practice him to sleep by himself???
@Feelgoodmama4 жыл бұрын
I did that too, and my son still doesn't fall asleep by himself at 3 years! If you want you can try putting the baby down just before he closes his eyes, so that he'll soothe himself. I didn't do that though ;)

Hi vidya... My baby is 1 mnth old and she always wants to feed, once in 10 minutes the whole day but she sleeps well at night.. Wakes up once in 3 hours to nurse.. How can i change it to same intervals.. Pls do answer
@Feelgoodmama4 жыл бұрын
Monica Gaddam the best thing is to feed as per demand, it will keep your supply up for longer. It feels hard now but hang in there, it’ll get better soon 👍

What do you think about 'spoiling' your child? Giving them a life you may be wished for yourself. And does it ever happen to you...being more and more mommy and less and less wife, which in turn affects your relationship. perhaps make a whole video on this. I would love to have a detailed view from you.
@Feelgoodmama4 жыл бұрын
swati singh very true, sometimes I feel like I’m first a mom, then a human 🤦♀️. But I need to understand that this is true in early childhood and it’s a phase. But if I get too identified with it, I’ll think of myself as nothing else my entire life, even after my kid grows up and doesn’t need me 24 hours. It’s just that this role of motherhood is most important to me right now, doesn’t mean it defines me. Having a baby definitely takes a huge toll on marriages, it’s an excellent conversation for another video. Thank you!
