My uncle been has been living on one kidney since 1988 and the one that he's surviving off of is going bad. I can't wait to show him this video and tell him if we can insist him to take one of sons, daughters, nephews, or nieces. He's 74 years old and thinks we should keep our kidneys instead of donating them to him because he believes that he'll pass away eventually and it'll be a total loss. Inshalla Allah SWT helps him and makes him age longer

I don’t know why Muslims have made this big issue about organ donation. Taking fatwas from this person or that person. As a matter of fact it is so trivial matter Allah Swt has not mentioned organ donation in Quran “ not a single Ayah “

Very interesting. I’ve always thought that is was not permissible with the concept in mind that we shall not alter our bodies before returning to God (I.e: tattoos, etc).

Interesting video. Moral and ethics, I love it. I have another question, I have being diagnosed with cardiopathy. I read an article regardig pig heart transplant and pigs valves. In fact, I know a person who went through this procedure 7 month ago, valves I mean. He was given two choices, artificial & pig. The medical observation was that the living tissue was less probable to rejection. Wallah, I hope I never go that bad. But, what's our stand on this new method, for certainly we ain't eating it, yet it is inside one

Sir, what do you say, regarding a Muslim who would like to donate organs or tissue upon their death? Given that a Muslim is buried without delays, etc. Thank you kindly.

Sheikh Assim Al Hakeem said it's not permissible because breaking the bone of the dead person is as though breaking the bone of a live person as per sahih hadeeth. Even a rose petal falls on the skin causes pain so you can't cause the dead so much suffering.

I always thought it was haram because supposedly our soul could still feel and experience what's happening to us and around us after we die, not because it's altering your body or whatever. That's literally the only reason why I'm not an organ donor, I don't want my soul to feel that pain. (Well and also because I saw a Scandinavian documentary about how the families of a dying person are pushed to accelerate their death so they could donate the organs, even though it's not always 100% sure they're actually dying.)

In fact, even Muslims perform surgeries for patients, but what is the Fatwa on the use of animal organs for humans? But, Khinzir (Pig) is indeed forbidden in Islam because it is dirty & najis mughallazah (impure thickener).
