Okay, not to be a creeper, but I met you in passing at the Theatre for WSS and when the invitation to the funeral was extended to Nyack students, I felt compelled to attend because Curtis had impacted our cast in such a beautiful way. All though there was sorrow in your heart, you stood up on the altar and began to sing and it was as if time stood still and peace washed over us. The presence of God was felt the ENTIRE night. Another very special woman in my life was my mother-in-law who we lost within the last couple of years. My mother-in-law taught me what type of mother-in-law that I'd like to be to my son's future wife. She was exceptional; she never crossed the line, and she treated me like her own daughter. I respected her like my grandmother and showed her so much reverence. I miss these ladies and I'm glad Michelle has experienced this type of mother-in-law as well. Mom, I can relate to how you feel at the moment you prayed and he wasn’t revived. We lost my cousin/my life long best friend this past August at 46 yrs old. My mom, sis and I was the first at the hospital after her husband and we tried praying for God to revive her. It’s been really difficult because as a teenager we did the same thing with my grandfather and witnessed the miracle of him waking up and living far beyond the drs expectations. I loved this video! Curtis’ Mum is so special and I really loved how she spoke about her faith. I cried when you said God spoke to you and sent you your granddaughter, I really believe in this. My faith is not as strong as yours but when I speak to God he answers, he sent me my first son when I prayed, he cane to me in a dream 2 years before and looked exactly as he did in that dream. I’m a mother and couldn’t imagine losing my child, like you said without that faith it’s impossible and I believe that too. I just want to hug, you’re an inspiration as a mother. I also have anxiety (life long) that affects every aspect + chronic illness, sometimes I ask God Why I suffer, God gives me his reasons and I understand them.

God took my dad from me when I was 14 and left my mum alone as a young widow with two underage children and no financial support what so ever .
