Girl. The prayer that Curtis prayed got me in tears. And the fact that God honored his prayer and took him with him, wow just wow. This side of the story has me in awe and I commend you so much for taking so much time and using wisdom the last 5 years, before you shared this. I am so proud of you sis. You are such a huge encouragement in the faith and I love watching God use you. 💗

I can't believe it's already been 5 years..smh I'll NEVER forget the day I watched your video on how your husband passed away. My God! It weighed so heavily on my heart and soul. That was the day I became a subscriber and both you and your late husband stole a piece of my heart. I cried right along with you and prayed that God would give you the mercy, strength and peace I knew you'd need to get through such a tremendous loss. But this video you just shared is SUCH a testament of God's mercy and love for His children...it's unreal!!! The fact that God heard Curtis's cry to go with Him, how God knew his struggle and didn't allow the world to suck him into the darkness we're surrounded by everyday, speaks volumes about who He is. HE is the King of all Kings, our true Father, our redeemer and the one who loves us more than any human ever could. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 Thank you, Lord for your love and mercy EVERY SINGLE DAY of our lives...whether we see it or not. You deserve all the glory, Father! 🙌🏼💕🥲 Thank you so much for sharing this video...this was truly a blessing and I look forward to hearing what God has put in your heart to share with the world. Love you, sis. Keep shining that beautiful light you hold in your heart. 🙂

I’ve been subscribed to you for years and for whatever reason, I have unintentionally not seen one of your videos for those same years. Well today I saw your video pop up in my feed so I watched- and I just wanna say that it is completely apparent & entirely evident that you have this gift of not only speaking, but speaking directly to the heart & soul. God bless the calling that has been placed upon your life, as you speak to those who battle depression, which is such an awful plague on humanity- the one thing that stops us from seeing God’s true love & grace. Thank you for sharing your story 💕

Michelle, thank you for being obedient. As I get ready to get married in June of this year to my beloved fiancé, your video has opened my eyes to see that marriage involves sacrificial love and care for your spouse. You may never know how many people you are impacting with this video, but one day you will see on the other side of heaven. We love you

Once I realized this I asked the Lord how I could be healed. I'd be happy to share more if anyone's interested. God completely healed me of mental illness. Completely.

This was so good and on time. My husband deals with depression and has dealt with suicidal thoughts and it is so hard. You wake up each day not knowing which spouse you’re going to get. And it’s so hard to not take it personal when you hear from your spouse that they have thought about taking their lives. But I trust God each day with this and I thank God for using you to encourage everyone today. ❤️🌻

And YES, it is amazing what God can do with us when we are brave enough to obey Him. Everything you said, God is good. Thank you for sharing more of your story. It doesn’t dishonor your late husband at all. I’m so sorry he struggled and you were so good to love him and covering him in prayer. I’m reading this book, The Power of a Praying Wife, and it is very humbling. Not entirely the same situations but the same idea, covering your husband in prayers 🌸

Wow! When I tell you that I felt this on so many levels, it hit home. When I found your video, my brother had just passed away from health related issues. I can’t believe it’s been that many years. Depression is a beast and when I went through such a hard time in my life, I could not get my husband to understand that overwhelming and unexplainable feeling. Prayer… prayer and holding on to faith saved me. I listened to worship music every morning before going into a job everyday that brought me so much grief, that saved me (it was providing for my family, so I wasn’t an easy decision to just leave). My parents divorce in the midst of losing my brother, a son, was a place of darkness. Hanging on to faith was all I had. I look back and I think wow!! I had “Made a Way” by Travis Green, I had “Smile” by Kirk Franklin, “Praise You in This Storm” by Casting Crowns playing in my head over and over throughout the years. I held on to a prayer book for women and would hold on to those Bible verses. I continue to pray to steer me away that overwhelming storm that I once went through. Thank you for sharing, thank you for praying, thank you for embracing.

Thank you for sharing this🧡 It's so heavy, but life is so heavy sometimes. I have struggled with depression during my marriage as well. And it just made me realize more what my husband must have felt. God set me free from depression and I am so thankful for that. My dad took his own life in 2020 and I took it so personally. I felt so broken and rejected. But when you were talking about internalizing and to not take things personally, it hit me. It's not my fault. And I forgave my dad. God has been healing me and I am so grateful for that
