THings are NoT changing. Here in Australia closed adoption is STiLL happening. Ripping the baby/child from its Mother is STiLL happening. Records are then closed. Noone comes back to check up on them. Nothings changed. Its all just words. ~Adoptee Activist Australia. Australian adoptee rights.

I think that I want to go to a support group at age 53 but I just want to talk and get ideas for healing. I have no interest in sitting around bashing either of my mothers and feeling sorry for myself. I suppose every support is different and I can always leave if the group is not a good fit.

The pearl-twisting over the reasonable question about narcissistic traits in female adopters is disheartening. It's the same old avoidance when truth asserts itself.
