I just love your passion for these topics. I've heard you talk about 'white bumps (not papules/pustules etc)' several times but I'd love to see a video where you're showing different types of breakouts and talking about what you see, feel & call each kind of bump/breakout and talking about your treatment preferences for each. I've looked but, if anyone has seen a video of hers that has that, please let me know!

Hi Nerida, I’ve been following your videos for a while. I have dehydrated oily skin; I’m 38, my skin looks pretty young (no lines yet!) but I‘ve always had tons of blemishes and redness (on pale skin), and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I never use foaming cleansers or granular scrubs and I follow your advice on prioritising hydration. (I also don’t drink red wine at all or eat much citrus or dairy.) My routine is: - double cleanse (slowly/thoroughly) with a wipe-off Avene milky cream cleanser - Avene gentle alcohol-free toner (swapped out once or twice a week for a salicylic toner) - niacinimide (morning) or either retinyl palmitate or a glycolic acid (evening) - hyaluronic acid (morning and evening) to aid hydration - Korean skin repair snail cream - Simple light green tea moisturiser (I alternate a night and day cream) - Bioderma SPF 50 sunscreen every day (and my makeup also has SPF 15) But while my skin feels oily to the touch I still get surface dryness that shows through my makeup - and I need the makeup to hide the blemishes! Please help....

Do not wipe off the cleanser.... wash off luke warm water always.Your toner may be an issue....try not using it for a week. Or remove the retinol as that will dry the surface also sometimes. You cannot use retinol if you are surface dry.... you have to layer it over a serum...like your hyaluronic acid one maybe:))

Nerida Joy thanks - I’ll try all of this! I have also started using niacinimide in the evening too so that goes on before retinol... and once or twice a week I’m swapping the toner for a salicylic toner (in the evening).

What brand serum do you suggest when doing a microneedling. I have many clients working on pigmentation as well as acne scarring.

I do not do microneedling:)) I would imagine something that would be hydrating and NOT ignite pigmentation issues as this treatment can be risky in the first place:)

Hi darling can you plz help me. I have the oilest skin ever. My foundation goes darker I have tried changing my skincare, primers,milk of magnesia. You name it I have tried everything.
