We have a Frenchie named Malibu. They are great dogs! They're called the clown breed of all the dogs. We have two kids, ages 9 & 6 and she's great with the kids. I will say that she isn't cheap. Her vet bills are sometimes often. They have a lot of allergies, both food and skin allergies. Most Frenchies are allergic to poultry and beef. And she has a few of us wrapped around her little paw. haha She's definitely a 'designer' dog. Lots of energy, but can get easily overheated. Just do your homework. After having Malibu for a few years now, I would get another. (And most Frenchie owners have more than one.)

Well the Dogue de Argentina is definitely the breed that requires the most "strong" ownership, you don't want a mastiff breed that is out of control. Health-wise they can be the most time consuming. Staffies are the most loving but also the most hyper, they require a lot of exercise, and you will have to deal with breed discrimination. I'm partial to this breed seeing as I have one right now, and he is a fantastic dog. And frenchies are by far the easiest obviously, just the least manly lol.
