I lost sight. My whole world changed. Literally, everything in my life changed. Cancer, home caught fire, divorce, children left, terminated, lost everything. God brought me through it all. My personal belongings were returned. I have started a new job. I am not sure exactly what my goal is anymore. I would like to share my testimony. I take care of my mom. And I would love to have a home again.

@@michellemcmillan6149 Thank you for being vulnerable enough to share your testimony with us. It sounds like you've been through a lot and that through it all, God was with you. I pray that you would grow through whatever storm you go through so that you may do the will of God

Coach John Wooden used to say "Worry about your character, not your reputation." It is parallel to Tebow trying to earn respect, instead trying to be liked.

Christian Country ... we need this SOOOOOOO much in our culture ... artists need to take their faith and make a stand against the music industry! Thomas Rhett and so many more would thrive in doing this all in the name of Jesus! Btw, this interview is POWERFUL ... thank you for investing in the lives of others and sharing this!

Tim Tebow was the most hated man back in 2008, and 2009 where I live, which is in Alabama, I was only 23 years old, and I didn't like him either, but as I got to know more about him, and I no longer thought of him as an enemy (again, I was young, living in Alabama) I started to respect him more than I ever I'd imagined, and liking him as well, because he's such a good human being, he really is, when asked about Aaron hernandez, he said "it's not for me to comment on, and I'm praying for everyone involved in this tragedy, including Aaron, and if he did do it, it's not for me to judge, I won't be asked about his sins" and thas when I thought Tebow was probably the best Christian witness that was REAL!

Tim, (10:14) with humility, enjoying your enthusiasm, did we miss the reality that God is substantially glorified in the process and often the outcomes are just a reward or a gift; the process of how we work, why we work, setting aside selfishness and laziness and changing into the image of Christ for the glory of God.

Here’s my problem with achieving something. I feel like if I get some thing that is worth having then it will probably just get taken away. I know that is a negative mindset but I feel like that’s in the back of my mind and therefore I shouldn’t obtain it. Edit: my mindset doesn’t mean that I shouldn’t do it though. In other words. A negative mindset doesn’t give passage to not achieving your goals.

Church is where we treat each other with Christ-like behavior because over and over again Paul teaches that all our gifts are for the church’s “common good”, but they are NOT given for the way we should interact with the world. Interacting with the world is “spiritual warfare” all the time, every day. Read your Bible in the New Testament and get rid of the “Catholic” theology that has wrongly taught we should “play nice” with the world system, and everyone in it. There are God’s ways for the Body of Christ, and. There are God’s ways for dealing with people who don’t love Christ, and don’t want to in the world.
@rochellecaffee1417 Жыл бұрын
Being respected for being who you really are is better than having people like you for being a liar. Living Truth is always better than living lies. It is a solid rock. And you never have remember what you said, or what thought, or what you respect yourself for. People can count on what they know is true. Self-differentiation…learn about who you are, how you want to be, according to God. This is a consistent way to be too. The truth stays the same. Truth always leads, when it is known and respected. Don’t expect people to read your mind. If you’re not communicating truthfully with others about expectations you are not being merciful or fair to others. Other people have the opportunity to make good choices of their own if you are truthful with them, in every situation. Being truthful is “faithfulness” and an example of Christ-likeness. Give people information that can make their lives better and let them make better choices.

While his messages might have some value, Craig Groeschel started his church as a business idea after doing market research on what spiritual characteristics would be most profitable. Craig Groeschel's intentions were far from the Christ like, giving nature he espouses but rather was done in the most selfish way; to make the most money possible. Beware of this guy.
