Dear Tammy, when I saw you for the first times, I thought you were a fancy-schmancy lady, but you are the living proof that one can be a down-to-earth, straight shooter and very female at the same time and I love it. Furthermore, you are hair goals! Your hair is as beautiful as you and I hope and pray that I will still be able to wear long hair, when I turn 60.

I really enjoyed & appreciate this & your willingness to share. I also appreciate you talking about not having children. I am 50 with no kids. I did try for 2 years after my first husband died (he did not want children). By the time I married again I was around 40, which in my opinion is too old to begin a family. I am a Godmother to several children & get my ‘ mothering’ fulfillment that way. However I too think about when I get older & not having anyone to help me (my husband is 12 years older). Just another reason I work hard to stay healthy. Thanks for all you do!

I have enjoyed your videos for many years but have never taken the time to express my appreciation for all that you do! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on beauty, health and the aging process! You inspire me to share a truer version of myself with those around me and I'm sure I am not alone. Thank you, Tammy!

Hi Tammy! Thanks so much for such an in depth question and answer video. Wish I had known I would have asked something. Not sure what...sounds like you had a lot of interesting questions and answers here. Love your light in Florida. It is perfect. You always look beautiful and exude your beautiful spirit. You are my fun and bright spot during this pandemic. I hink you are a cross between Bridget Bardot, Oprah and Lucille Ball. You are gorgeous, have a wonderful teaching and helpful spirit, and you make me laugh out loud at times. And thank you big time for standing up for those of us over 60 who wear our hair long. I mean, who cares how long we wear our hair? I'm 67 and have no intention of cutting my hair unless it starts looking horrible and I am unable to care for it. Your hair is gorgeous. So is mine and I'm keeping my ponytail too! Thanks for sharing all your ups and downs and so thanktul God protected you during that horrible scary time in your life. And thank God you and Lou found each other. I feel the same about my scary times in life and so thankful for my wonderful Rob who completes the joy that I have. Looking forward to more with your wonderful videos! You are precious!

You are my spirit animal!!! Please please please let this be me in 15yrs... .... (or tomorrow!)! I just found you today, and have been binging your videos. You truly have inspired me to "maintain" even in my house by myself. I recently learned that I don't care nearly as much how I look, as what I care how other people think I look. Because I'm not in public getting compliments, this has caused a great deal of depression during COVID . I'm not proud of it. But like you said, we've learned a lot about ourselves in quarantine. There is no reason not to take care of myself FOR myself. It's not like anybody else is going to do it! Anyway.. THANK YOU. YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL INSIDE AND OUT🤗

You are so fantastic! I just adore your openness and willingness to talk about your life. The fact that you even bothered to answer someone's (in my opinion), rude question about not having kids is a testament to your kind nature. I chose not to have them. And that kind of question is so invasive I just cant stand it. I dont go around asking people with children if they "regret" having them. Why do people think it's OK for them to pry about such personal choices? The faces I get from people when they ask if I have kids is absurd - a mixture of sadness for me, confusion and sometimes even disgust. It's astounding. Anyway - Girl - you are the bomb - just keep being your full on fabulous self! I am here for it!! XO

Thank you for sharing your stalker encounter and for talking about being safe. You are so right about knowing your surrounding don’t be distracted while walking to your car or just walking in general. Look around when you go out know what’s going on, notice what people are doing and if you pass by someone look them in the face, always have your head looking up not down at the ground. Layer your protection, pepper spray, keys in hand, have a stun gun. Have something in your car for protection at all times and never ever get in the car with your attacker, NEVER! Hopefully you will never have to use these things but better to have and not need than to need and not have. Blessings and thank you for your videos. Stay safe and well.

Your story about being stalked was so scary!! It also brought back memories for me. This has been 25 years ago but I remember it so well! My husband worked rotating shifts and this night he was on 3rd. I was asleep with my young daughter in her room. I heard something at the window, but didn’t think anything of it. My husband came home early that morning and asked why I took the screen off of the window😳. Then I remember our neighbor across the street had called me a few days before ,and her husband was a truck driver, and she told me someone tried to break into her house. I was so scared because Dean was working 3rd for a week. I had my brother in law stay with me through that week. It never happened again, but scared of what could have happened!!

I get you completely about staying in and not traveling right now. Yesterday we just got in the car and drove along the ocean for about an hour...just to get out of the house! And it's our year to host our whole family for the Christmas holidays...more than likely we will cancel that since this could possibly go on much longer. Oh Tammy...I'll be 77 in 8 days. Honestly...my aging is noticeable for sure but health wise and movement because I've kept active, I feel no different than I did at 60. And we are very similar in our daily lives - our eating - our health in general...aging is not something I love but it could be so much worse. Loved learning more about you! xoxo patti.

Tammy I love all of your video content! I just wanted to say thank you for sharing your thoughts on not having children. I am in the same situation as you are and I completely agree with how you feel regarding not having children at our age. I don't have any family and I am very concerned about what is going to happen when I am elderly. I am a caregiver of my 88 year-old mother and I see how much goes into all that needs to be done for her care. But like you said we have to live in the moment and be thankful for what we have and I just wanted to thank you for sharing your heart regarding that topic. I also agree because I am very much a worrier that I would be so overly concerned about children if I had them especially in this day in age with what is going on. I was the mother of a beautiful Cockapoo named Shelly and she passed away a few years ago. I miss my girl every day. We can completely give all of our love and nurturing to our four-legged kids and they give us constant unconditional love. You also give your care and nurturing to all of your viewers every video that you make. 💕

I’ve had more compliments and Kim style my hair so many different ways or just pull up in a ponytail I pay on my head I don’t have very much gray so I only get my hair highlighted and my roots done twice a year. It’s the simplest hairstyle I’ve ever had. And I haven’t had my hair long since the early 80s either. I’d say we are rocking it LOL

Hello Tammy! I am behind in watching your KZbin Videos because my fiancé and I just moved. It was an overwhelming move: He accepted a new job and we had to pack and move within ten days, I wound up sick from the stress, we both had years and years of "stuff" to go through, we are moving in the time of Covid and the drive was 13 hours on the thruway-myself in my car with our cat and he in his car with our dog. Needless to say, when we finally arrived to our destination (Charlotte, North Carolina) I was overwhelmed. We are from Rochester, New York and I have lived there my whole life-50 years! While it is beautiful here and the people are SO nice...I completely related to you (and was so pleasantly surprised you mentioned it) when you said you miss family, friends, familiar places like our hair salon and Wegmans!!! Yes...I miss Wegmans. Harris Teeter is very, very nice...but it feels strange without my Wegmans. 😂 Thank you for all your wonderful videos. I enjoy them all and this one truly was special to me.😘

She was a dear young woman and I wanted her to know I respected her work and it wasn't beneath me. I'm a little older than you Tammy, and I'm now SO slow, but I can't see turning it over to someone else. After decades, I got off my knees and I got a heavy steamer for some of the floors at least ... am grateful. Love you :) Just heard the long hair question. IGNORE them!!! It's beautiful! I know women who don't like long hair because their mothers were too lazy (or maybe busy?) to ever allow daughters long hair. They resent the long hair the most. I get so tired of people who think you should do everything like them (preferrably slightly behind them) so that THEY can stay in THEIR comfort zone. So they should have THEIR hair just exactly how they like it :)

Tammy, love you honestly. I have learned so much and am inspired to not give up on beauty. I have a very bad brain nerve thing that causes the worst pain when I or my hair or anyone touches my left face. This kills wearing makeup. I have sun spots that I had removed but they return in the same place 5-10 years later. No I cannot bare the laser pain. BUT i have tried your recommended primers and puffy with success on good days. Hope to get my eye brows filled in better. Used to model until 34 so learned a bit about make up but not for these years. Thank you! Enjoy and be safe from the creeps that scare women. Awful.

I have been binge watching you and I just love you. Talking about powder foundation I am 59 and I love Jane Iredale after I apply it I spritz and it looks like skin. I have tried to find a liquid that works but no luck it always looks cakey no matter how little I put on. I told my husband last night I wish I had the habit of wearing lipstick your lips always look good. I have thin lips and they are getting thinner.

OMGosh....Your story and everything about you is me. The same as with my husband. When we met I knew he was the one who would be my everyday, my everything. Both he and I thought the other one wouldn't date them. we talked about it later while dating. My husband is the sweetest, nicest, most humble man, he's strong but not mean. He's just a great man. I believe having his parents made him that way. The cleaning is I always believe best if done on hands and knees. sweeping daily. I love my house to be clean for my husband too. It makes me feel good. I've never worked outside the home, after being married. My husband gave me the choice....I had 3 children, we raised them, they moved away, went into military, started their adult lives, and now we have only each other again ju.st like the beginning. We have been married for 39 years, will be 40 next May. He is my life. Best decision I ever made.

When I worked in downtown DC it is against the law to carry pepper spray, but you can carry mouth spray and it works. We had someone who came and talked to the women about being safe & what you can do and not do. I don’t understand people walking & talking on their phone! You are so right about being aware of your soundings! Weird things are happening! Glad to hear you like your NuFace as I have one and I think it does make a difference. Thanks 😊

Thank you for a very nice Q&A video. It was very nice to get to know you a bit better 🥰. I am a farly new follower so I have only seen a few of your videos. But you seem so grounded and down to earth ❤. I am 50 now and started my menopause autumn 2016. I still have it and take some medication for it. It helps a bit, but I wish it would help more. I really hope it will stop soon. You are a really beautiful woman and I love love your hair 🥰😍❤. You are also very blessed to have Lou. It warms my heart to hear you talk about him. Lots of love from me in Norway 🤗🥰

Love that color top on you. I always enjoy your videos, but this was wonderful. You brought me to tears talking about Lou💕 I had a stalker, who happened to be a friend of my older brother in my late teens I would have gifts left on my front porch for years. My brother found out he had pictures of me all over his walls that he took of me himself. Scary. Luckily it stopped after my brother became aware of that! Stay safe 💕💕💕

Your channel was recommended by YT, actually the video about making vitamin C, which I am going to do. I'm quite a bit older but I'm enjoying binging on your video's. Your're a pretty lady with a great positive attitude! Thanks for sharing! ❤ **EDIT** Your stalker story is chilling. I completely agree that ppl are distracted nowadays, with cell phones, etc. I legally conceal and carry a gun, bc in the 80's a man tried to attack me in broad daylight. Had I not had a gun, who knows!

I loved the video. I had a similar situation as you with a stalker. I was 24, was in the shower & heard a strange noise. Got out of the shower with a towel around me & he was in my apartment. I moved in with my boyfriend from that day on, we've been married 32 yrs now.

Wonderful to get to know you better. I didn’t think anyone else felt the way I do. I don’t have children either. I don’t know who will help me in my old age. Things are bad enough now. There’s also no guarantee your children would help you. God bless you Tammy, Lucy

Have you had your girls 3yrs already? Where has the time gone. I have been a subscriber for many years, and I have loved every video. You never disappoint. You are so right, we must be mindful of our surroundings, we never know what evil is lurking around the corner. I don't mean that we should be fearful, just alert and prepared. Love you much CMT.

Thank you for sharing your experience with not having children. I’m 41 and it has been a a struggle for me. My husband and I have been married for a very long time, but it just never worked out where we were on the same page at the same time for children. Then some unexpected health issues in my thirties took a toll and I knew it was not in the cards for us. Sometimes other women are so judgmental - it can be really disheartening. It was very reassuring to hear your story. ❤️ Also, welcome to FL full time! I’m in Ft. Lauderdale - the covid nightmare zone LOL. Good luck with your first summer - it’s been soooo hot!

I hear you on the judgmental women and not having children....Lou never really ever wanted children...he would have been a great dad if it had happened and loved them to the moon and back......but he is just fine with our life... So far we are enjoying summer...I actually like the beautiful mornings with afternoon thunderstorms...( I love a good thunderstorm )...My brother lives in Boca...has for over 30 years...it's much busier over there...stay SAFE!!

I'm sensitive to odors too. For some reason our house holds on to those cooking odors. I think some people comment on your hair just to see how you will react. I love your hair. You keep it healthy, and it looks modern and very attractive. It's not stringy and/or greasy. I love your sense of humor about everything. :) Thank you for so graciously answering the questions asked of you.

Tammy. You are so precious...thank you for this. We are also quarantined in FL and grateful to be here.. Also what we have in common is the meeting the man of your dreams and knowing it immediatly, the no kids thing (aka the issue of being taken care of later in life) and I had the exact experience of opening my blinds to a big scary peeping tom face. It was horrifying. I knew what you were going to say before you said it. I am so sorry that it happeded to the both of us. Oh yes, I am 55 and I have LONG blonde hair (longer now bc of quarantine). My husband and I love it, to heck with everyone else. Sounds like we are kindred spirts....thank you again for this video. Nancy
