I have selection date early next year. 10:07 can confirm the Army needs GBs, a master sergeant came in to brief us in a classroom that they need bodies and if we just do what we’ve been told to do, we’ll make it out of the selection , I’m assuming it’s going to be the same for Robin Sage. Although, we already lost 4 people in my class before the SOPC due to integrity violations and some just voluntarily quit so definitely gotta have a mindset of I could get kicked out at any moment.

Man that's wild. It makes me wonder though, what happens if you are 18X and you don't make it through? Let's say you get selected, make it through 2 and 1/2 years of training, and then you flunk out at the last minute. Do they just send you to some random unit in the Army? Do you get to change your MOS or anything?

Sounds like a lot of the guys go across the street to the 82nd Airborne

you end up going anywhere they want but since you’re “valuable” you’ll mostly end up in the 82nd as “SF washouts”.

Washouts usually quit, they will find a way to get kicked out the Army. SF was their dream and they just quit or got caught cheating

Im almost done with my first contract in the Marines and im very interested in the 18x program I am working towards being prepared to try out for them there mission set interests me and ive always wanted to be apart of a team like that.
