Well... you’re also leaving out that Q & the Continuum attempted to bribe her & offered to transport them to Earth in exchange for siding with them. She chose her morals & integrity, again, over getting her crew home. & she didn’t even seem to agonize over this decision, when she had other times, both before & after this, questioned her original choice to strand the crew. This also ended up causing the Q Civil War & killing untold billions/trillions (Q war caused lots of random stars to go supernova). So that’s at least twice she doomed trillions (although I agree she didn’t really have a choice with Borg vs 8472).

There was q good take on that in the novels with Q vs Lwaxana Troi and Q2. Q revealed that he was behind a plot to show that love was a sham and broke up a marriage between 2 groups of space traders he had given Lwaxana a small portion of his powers. He pretended to be in love with Lwaxana. He revealed he actually detested her. She got mad. Q2 prevented Q from taking his powers back and one of the most bizzare fight/chase scenes ever took place. Highlights. They started in space. Then engineering via the warp nacelles. A herd of buffalo, a racquetball court, before she turned him into a tree and with a betazoid axe threatened his privates.

The big bang scene really annoys me, because the big bang wasnt an explosion in the sense of a bomb going off. Nor was it something that happened in the universe. It was the expansion of the universe itself. It makes no sense to be able to sit and watch it.

This scene is so bizarre... I realize the Q are omnipotent, but even if Voyager were taken to the big bang, wouldn't it still be impossible to view it from the outside, since there ISN'T anything outside it? Matter wasn't the only thing that formed in the big bang, space itself did too. The concept of "outside" the big bang just doesn't make sense. Really what it boils down to in the end is that the Q are the writers foregoing scientific accuracy altogether, throwing up their hands and saying "screw logic - it just IS!" The Q are the clown shoes of Star Trek lol 😂 when the writers wanted to write Star Trek meets Looney Toons, they bring in the Q.

There's a theory that a "White Hole" is the antithesis of a "Black Hole" wherein all the matter contained inside of a Black Hole, is released all at once. This is different from a Quasar as a Quasar releases energy/matter along it's poles but does so over a duration of time and not all at once. Of course the James Webb Space Telescope is still uncovering light that dates back "older" than our understanding of the beginning of time so I think it's safe to say that we still don't really know !@#$ about !@#$ lol

You have to understand how fast the early part of the universe was. In the amount of time it took just to turn the screen on to see what was there, the universe was already "cool" enough for hadrons (protons and neutrons) to form. This happened about 10 to the power of −6 seconds after the initial "bang." The fact that so much happened in such a mind-bogglingly short amount of time is why scientists came up with "Planck time." For reference, there are more Planck units in ONE second than there are TOTAL seconds in the entire time since the formation of the cosmos. In just a few Planck units, the universe went from the size of a pinhead to the size of a baseball. A few more, it was the size of Earth. Just a few more after that, it was the size of a galaxy. And yes, that does mean it was actually expanding *faster* than the speed of light.
