Jazak Allah khair but sheikh must say I've never really understood the Isha prayer to start once the redness in sky disappears. This is because the redness in the sky usually in UK (june right now) disappears virtually minutes (approx 10 min, If a little longer) after Maghreb starting giving us barely anytime to read the Maghreb Salah. Typically I've heard it can be prayed upto 1 hr /1hr 10mins after Maghreb starting but the redness goes from the sky minutes after Maghreb starts. Then there usually is a light blue sky and then pitch black night

According to Imam Abu Hanifa , an opinion of Hanafi, Maghrib ends when Isha starts , when whiteness in sky disappears. Completely dark, barely any light. But many Hanafis disagree and follow Hanafi opinion when Maghrib ends/isha starts when redness disappears . North America follows Imam Abu Hanifa view for safety and to avoid disagreement

You should pray after the azan. You can learn how to read and recite azan. But you can always search it up on KZbin to learn or go to this website www.jaffari.org its plays the azan when it is time. It takes only 6 minutes.

I live in Germany and I do it like this: I have five Alarms set on my phone, one for each salah and turned on for every day in week The ringtone for Alarm is downloaded sound of Azan, since here there is no mosque and no Azan Everyday I look up new salah times for my area and adjust the times of my five Alarms. And now you have your personal reminder of prayer and feel like living in muslim country 🙂 Search in the internet for Salah times in your location! Here is a link, type in your location on website: www.islamicfinder.org Remember, visit this website everyday to adjust alarm! If there is no information, for Fajr search time of dawn (beginning) and time of sunrise (end) in your location

I live in a country that is almost always cloudy, what can I do to figure out if it is time? Also, even on clear days, I'm not able to see the horizon from my home, due to the houses around me, what can I do then? I can't help worrying if I'm missing praying on time as I do not know if the prayer time table I have at home is accurate or not, and I really want to make sure I'm praying on time.

According to Assim Al Hakeem also, we should use Umm al Qura in our apps for the 4 prayers except the last one. Isha is inaccurate. Umm al Qura calculates isha to be an hour and a half after maghrib, which is false. Because according to the sheikh it is usually 60 to 70 minutes later, and it is never 90 minutes which is an hour and a half. In Ramadan, you're advised to add half an hour more to the already half an hour isha, making it even more wrong than it already was. So for Isha, you should use ISNA or Muslim Word league if it is within 60 to 70 minutes and never 90 minutes after maghrib. He also says the university of Karachi is good for isha. Hopefully you understand. Or, you could calculate the middle of the night by yourself which is the last time for praying isha which is what I would do if neither Muslim word league or ISNA or Karachi is correct. For me, University of Karachi is sometimes correct, sometimes not. And Muslim World League as well as ISNA are incorrect for me. This calculation for the last time of isha is also something he explains. For example, if Fajr is at AM and Maghrib is at 6 PM, you have to calculate the amount of hours in-between. There are 11 hours in between. Now, divide that into 2. 11 divided by 2 is 5 and a half. Add 5 and a half hours to the maghrib time which was 6 PM, so 6 PM + 5 and a half hours. What you get then is 11:30 PM. this is your last time you can pray isha. A good app is Athan (made by Islamicfinder). A better app is Pillars which is completely ad-free. However for pillars you have to choose a high latitude method which is still confusing to me, even if the app can also choose automatically for you. Because if I compare the umm al qura times in athan and pillars, they differ from eachother by 1 to 3 minutes. So I guess I have to look at the sky to determine which is ultimately correct.

You have to astronomically calculate, at which time the sun **would** reach those areas. Or you let others calculate it, just search in the internet "Salah times in [current location]" or even things like "time of dawn/sunrise/zenith/sunset/twilight in [current location]" and you can know. I live in Germany where the explanation in this video with the shadows doesn't help and every day I look up the times and adjust my five alarms for Salah with Azan as alarm sound, so I never miss Salah. Everyday the times shift for 1 minute compared to last day so every day I adjust!
