Q50 chassis system fault

This might sound a bit crazy but I just now got home from having my 2017 Q60 suddenly die on me while driving. No warning at 40k miles. I was dangerously stuck on the road side for nearly 1hr before calling for a tow. I cleaned and checked terminal fuses- everything looked good. Never had a problem. Lights on gauges worked and lit up but would not crank over. I kept getting chassis system error and no key detected - or something similar to those error codes… neither center display screens would power on. Tow truck arrived and I just made it home. When dropping off the car I then noticed all lights/ display screens had power… I got in the vehicle, pressed the start button and it ran like no problem has ever happened. Only thing I could think of was buckling the driver side seat belt- which is the only thing that happened when the tow truck picked up my car. Hope this helps

bro i have a q50s hybrid and its been like 3 times that it just turns off while i am driving even in highways which is dangerous, chasis system control signs shows up aswell as no key detected..i completely turn it off and wait a minute then it cracks again i drive without a problem but it alsa shows me the chech engine light plus a yellow car outline on dash, car is good but i dont know what to do

The problem was the rear wheel ABS sensor when this happened to me. Take it to a dealership and they'll fix it same day

I got this error on my 2014 Q50 Hybrid Sport after spinning out while doing donuts 🍩. My alignment on my steering wheel was all the way to the left just to go straight lol. I just drove it about 30-40 miles afterwards and the sensors reset themselves and error went away. It has happened to me 2 times now

@@Javiermartinez-iw8jd . Check your battery. Check your fusebox to make sure no fuses are burnt up . I just drove mine 30 miles home and they went away by themselves.

wife's q50 just got this error along with one that said awd temp few days ago in the snow. goes into the shop sat. heard it may be a sensor problem

Awd temp means that one of more or your tires need replacement.

there's 2 batteries in theses cars,the primary under the hood and the sub battery in the left side of the trunk. make sure the one in the trunk is charged.can cause this message and car not to start👍.

That is very good advice thank you. The problem resolved spontaneously but actually I did later have that rear battery changed because of issues with the stop/start system. So maybe that could have been the problem all along!

@@A_alteneiji there's a fuse box cover on the left trunk panel. You'll see a cover below it to the rear.take that cover off and you'll see the battery .

Good day to you. Has this issue remained resolved for you? Just popped up on my 2014 Q50. Just broke 60,000 miles on it, so I'm feeling some kinda way about that... Luckily, my neighbor is a travelling repair tech for a company that specializes in technical repair stuff, and this was his immediate guess. This was the first issue I've had with the car, so if this is all it happens to be, I couldn't really even be mad.

Same issue on a 2015 nissan rogue. The dealer said abs system needs to replaced. How??? That's a 2k job!

I got this problem on my 2014 Q50 hybrid plus it showed the engine indicator light on. I plugged in the code reader and it said misfired on number 5 cylinder. Then i replaced all plugs, and reset the codes it showed all clear. I checked the fire plugs out and they all wore down to the bottom of the fire plug tip. The plugs lasted about 35000- 40000 miles. I don't know why it connected to the chassis system. But now every thing is running correct. Just check your fire plugs it might need to be replaced. It happened to me 2 times and about 35000 miles apart. Changed the fire plugs twice.

Thanks for the suggestion, this problem resolved itself after I had a car wash! It was suspected that it was related to an ABS sensor. Regardless I don't have the car anymore but hopefully your suggestion may be useful to other viewers of this video :)

Mine happened the second i pressed the white button under my break did the light on the dash go away when you cleared the codes ik nothings wrong with the car i didnt even drift it after I noticed it wouldn’t go away

I was told over the weekend that my 2015(reconstructed title- hit on drivers rear) has no battery which is why I'm getting the error. My guy pulled up the quarter panel and said he didn't even see the wires for it.

@@itsangelbaby6521 Battery was low. I charged it and ran it well. Now it did it again in the winter. I had to change the battery. I don't think it's entirely fixed tho. It works now, but we got errors for the AEB and LDW. Got that reset but now whenever I turn the car off the radio turns off BEFORE opening the door
