At first I was hesitant, but in the end,​ I was so impressed by Qantas domestic A330-200 business class! What a joy for the short three-hour ride from Perth to Melbourne.

I’m not surprised about the whole crew being casual thing, it is a distinctly Australian trait that we are just super casual. I always love flying with QANTAS and I always love that it has such an iconic brand. Also it’s not surprising that that flight is really expensive, the main people that would fly it would be the mining business people and members of parliament etc.

When I flew Business from Hong Kong to Brisbane on a Qantas 787, the idea of the lighter food is so that you can sleep better for an overnight flight. During these flights you can ask for more food throughout.

Good luck to you becoming a Qantas pilot. But be prepared, they have one of, if not THE, toughest pilot training courses in the world. Hint, a lot of their pilots are also former Royal Australian Air Force pilots.

It was QANTAS who “popped my business class 🍒” on my first overseas travel for work. I was lucky enough to get their business class experience for 14 hours! The crew was amazing and incredibly friendly, and the food was so delicious and creative (it was on these flights that I was introduced to Tawny Port 🍷). I have since used QANTAS as the standard for other airlines to meet. Can’t express how great they were to me! 😊

Qantas is very safe have never crashed. And now you are in Melbourne which is where l live and the most beautiful city in Australia. Melbourne is also now coffee and restaurant capital of the world so l hope you enjoyed Dan.

Mark Korenhof the only time qantas did have a real emergency was very limited. There were no crashes

The closest crash was when the engine on QF32 blew up. But the training and experience of the pilots assisted them to land the plane safely, brilliant from qantas!!

Qantas has crashed. It's even had 2 shoot downs. It's never had a jetliner crash............. well......... one did in a runway overrun but Qantas paid to repair it at a greater than the value of the airliner so it wouldn't be classified as written off.

I flew QANTAS from Sydney to Shanghai and the service was awesome. Even though it was an economy ticket it felt like a premium product. Very impressed :-)

Dan, you took one of the longest Australian domestic flights so the seat doesn't go into bed mode that often domestically. most trips don't even get meals served because they don't get to two hours in length to qualify for meal service. good to see you have done some on our carrier and also glad you have enjoyed the service. thanks for talking the time to learn how to pronounce our city names.

On an overnight flight, there would be a sort of mattress over the seat when it is put into bed mode. That would also add to the comfort level.

The reason why Australians love Qantas so much is because for us that travel far and being away for so long, nothing is nice than hearing that accent and warm welcome reminder that you are heading home. Pity they're J product is a little overpriced for what it is (ref: a380), however the a330/b787 have a fantastic product.

Qantas business class, one of the best business class flights I've ever taken. Qantas and Singapore Airlines in my opinion are the best business class options. Staff on both airlines are amazing..... they all need to be paid more. They made me feel like royalty! Qantas Brisbane to Tokyo..... amazing! Direct flights are the best!

Qantas is just awesome! Had 4 domestic flights with them and all were soo good (in Economy). 2 of those flights were on a 717, my favorite narrow-body-aircraft! :D So comfortable seats with movable headrests (on regional flights in Economy!!) and good food :)

Been watching your videos for a while now and you never seem to impress with the amazing reviews you do. One thing you do that most other reviews don't one in particular that i am not going to mention (but i am sure you know who i am talking about ... one million subscribers) that your reviews are brutally honest. This means you give us accurate reviews that help tell us which airlines not to fly and to fly. This is unlike the reviewers includeing the one hinted above who just take airline sponsorships. I also really like you fan interaction in the comments. You are a great KZbinr and I am sure that you all be successful in the future both on KZbin and with your studies. But I ask for one thing and that's to not change no matter how big you become. KZbin channels like yours are a rarity as others accept nonstop airline specific sponsorships. Qantas is the best! I s’pose I’m biased. My Dad’s first job was as a Qantas apprentice so have a soft spot. Always find the crew friendly, the seats comfy, food tasty. Back on board in May so your review has me doubly excited.
