Yeah, did anyone else notice that the user manual doesn't actually tell you anything about the specific list of functions and how to use all the buttons/functions with your DAW? I love how easy it was to set up, but fuckall...that's all worthless if you don't tell us how to use it. Companies are getting alarmingly lazy these days.

Hi i'm finding that the fader sensitivity when set as described is not saving when powering down. When I check it always reverts to the value 5 any ideas thanks! using a Pro G2 and Ex G2

I am using Qcon Pro g2 and I can not get it to control the parameters of my VST instruments open in Kontakt, such as modulation, vibrato (breath) ... etc... which is basically what I aim to use it for... can you please help us your fellow composers with this issue? Hi man..thanks for this great video, I want to buy only the Icon Qcon Pro G2 One Question: The Icon has 8 Faders (chanels) what can I do when I want do use in my Daw the Chanel 9-16 Chanel... I there any bottom on the Icon that makes me Jump to the 2 section to the Chanel 9-16...in my Daw...? Or is this necessary to buy the extender to use the oder channels in my Daw ?

The QCon Pro G2 is able to bank through channels in banks of 8 depending on the software you are using it with. This means you press the bank buttons and your selected faders will jump from the bank of faders 1-8, to 9-16, and so on. For some reason when I set the sensitivity to 7 and then power off the device, when I turn it on again it still says 5.... like it doesn't save the changes. Any reason?

Hernan Ian no I gave up on it. Tech support isn't too helpful either but the unit using FL studio seems very compatible so I gave up on the little things and just focused on the reason I bought it for, to control my DAW and for that it's actually pretty fkn dope not gunna lie.

I use cubase and when i automate tracks it is freaking noisy, almost impossible to get thru a mix process peacefully cause that noise....will see what i can get... Thanks a lot for reply.

I thought the same thing, but after a little trial and error, I think I have it figured out. I set mine to 10, which made it quite difficult to light the channel Blue, then powered Off. After powering On, it's still very difficult to light the channel Blue. I entered setup again, it said 5, changed it to 2, which made it very easy to light the channel, powered Off and On, and it's still very easy to light the channel. Looks like the setting resets to 5 every time you enter the setting, which can make it look like your setting didn't take hold. Solution is to set it and forget it!

I"m having trouble getting the settings on the "Fader Touch Sensitivity Test and Calibration" screen to save. The video says to turn off your unit in order to save, however I turned the device off, let it restart normally, shut it off again and looked at the "Fader Touch Sensitivity" screen and none of my changes saved. Is there another way to save these settings?

Thanks for the quick reply! I'm on version 1.03 on both the Pro G2 as well as the EX G2. Both are showing the same behavior. Pressing the 8th encoder knob switches the view to show me what amount of pressure each fader is currently receiving. It does not save or restart the unit. Unlike in the other menu you described where pressing the 8th encoder saves and re-boots the unit, this does not happen in the Fader Touch Sensitivity Test and Calibration screen.

Having an issue with the QCon EX G2 unit under Reaper (latest) When in Mackie Control Unit or Mackie Control Extender, the SOLO button only lights up IF the MUTE button is also engaged. Otherwise it does not light up? Is there a way to fix this? (in other modes HUI it works. It also works in ProTools, but HUI is limited in Reaper)

Got some reason my motorized faders don’t work now that I synced it back with reason 12. I use to use before but starting using it with pro tools. Went back to reason and it connects but the motorized faders don’t work anymore

Thanks for the tutorial! I'm having a problem with Fader 1 on my EX G2. It doesn't respond to Touch at all, no matter what setting I use from 0 through 50, though I typically set it to 5. I notice the number on Fader 1 is 74 while all the other Faders say 17 or 18. What does that number mean? Can I change it?

​@@eldomo123 Yes, though I'm not sure why! I followed the advice from tech support and opened my unit. I switched the problematic fader with the next one, reassembled the unit, and both faders worked. So far, so good!

Is anyone else having trouble w incorrect Volume LED status in Logic? I’m having a few tracks “red line” with no audio being passed. Also seeing the meters jump to red line when levels aren’t close to that loud.

Hello Officialsyco0, Thank you for reaching out. While the QCon Pro G2 will function with nearly any software which supports Mackie or HUI control surface protocol, Cubase 5 may not be the most stable option. It should, however, work!

I'm having problems in protools mixing a 60 track session when moving pages up and down to see the next bank of faders every time there is always some faders not moving to the position they shall as you can see in the screen in pro tools... they stay just where they are... will the procedure in this video help? very disappointed with the customer service its been more than a week I contacted and they didn't responded...
