TRIP REPORT | United Express - ERJ 145 - Newark (EWR) to Ottawa (YOW) | Economy

Welcome to another trip report! This is the first flight for this crazy trip I am taking. I will be doing a trip report on an unknown airline that has no trip reports. These videos will be uploaded within the next weeks.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed the "drone and road" intro. We left my home right around 3 PM. We ran into some crazy traffic, and I arrived at Newark Airport at 8:58 PM. This is the reason why I never fly out of Newark; it's too far. Thankfully, United was experiencing delays (like usual), which I won't complain about because TSA saved me by allowing me to literally sprint right through the security checkpoint. Onboard the flight, we flew through a storm, and I experienced the worst turbulence in my life. I was lying down in the row and became airborne.

P.S. If you are wondering why I broke my promise to never fly United Airlines again, the only other flight operating this route was an Air Canada A319, which I've already filmed.

Denver Aviation HD the 170/175/190 is nice. But not the 145, which is outdated, cramped, old feeling, squeaky, and gets kicked around easily.

Yes, traffic in New York...I know, I know...My father lives there and has been for many years...Having your drone flying over the a part of the Hamptons is nice but maybe on a better day next time..Yes, traffic on the Long Island Parkway is what it is; Traffic!!!!!! Here in Chicago is the same on Lake Shore Drive going into the Downtown area ( we say the "Loop" for us here) in Chicago. Enjoy yourflying always..

I really liked your into (sorry for the crash). glad your crew was late. the ERJ 140 series is a basic aircraft with no leading edge devices or thrust reverse...you got the lucky seat with a loo and a phone at your disposal. loo was ok. SWA's are really TINY. enjoyed the smooth Rolls-Royce AE 3007 sound....cool guys always drink a refreshing glass of icy cold coke....haha.....noticed the short TO from the light load....great report Quintin continuer à voler mon ami

D Brit not a fan of the E145. Old and blah aircraft. Flew on a CRJ back in 2008 and was way better than the stinkin’ 145. E170/175 is also better.

Very nice trip report. I just started my channel about a month ago, have a few UA Express flights on there, for short haul flights they are fine. But anything over an hour I want something a little bit larger.

Bryan Zhang CRJ-700’s aren’t comparable to the ERJ-145. A CRJ-200 would be the comparable competitor to the 145. They both have 50 seats.

Makes no sense to travel cross-border to Ottawa,knowing you're going to overnight but no hotel arrangements beforehand? Willing to bet that the flight crew was dog-tired,more than likely they will turn around for the next flight out back to EWR the next morning,undoubtedly sleeping in more comfort than you did!
