Yes! One of my favorite dishes. I can eat this everyday and still wouldn’t get sick of it. I also love the chicken version. You got me drooling and hungry when I should be sleeping.

My family eats ours just like pho lol and we’d never add tomatoes since none of us like them. It’s so interesting seeing how every family makes the same dish so different! I definitely wanna try your broth recipe out! Thanks for sharing!

I've used your recipe before but instead of the pork bones, I would cook the ground pork then add the rest (omitted tomatoes too) but your recipe never fails. Making some later on today as well! Thanks for your videos!

This reminds me of a Vietnamese dish called Hu Tieu, instead of salt use the quoc Viet hu tieu seasoning. So good! I'm Hmong but I cook a lot of Vietnamese dishes too.

Thank you sharing your family recipes. I would have to try this. I like the chicken version too but a little different everything like the other kapoon broth but instead of adding coconut I opt out. And have it simple like your way too. Some of my family they over killed the coconut cream till you can’t enjoy it anymore.

Looks bomb. When I make clear kapoon. Its usually just use the pork bone, belly and intestine. Then I usually add sweet soy, fish sauce, lime, dry pepper and shrimp paste. We usually call it kapoon black juice. (Sorry I don't know how to spell in Hmong)

I have a question, I hope I'm not offending....but why is hmong language never pronounced the way its written? I'm curious.
@Emyrtemoc Жыл бұрын
It's because most words began with a silent letter. I.e hmong = hmm-mong. The language have a lot of tones.
