Notice: Muslims are quoting a Hadith from HAFS asking his teacher 'Aasim about the difference in his and Shu'bah's Qira'a, yet Hafs is completely REJECTED in hadith! Interesting, but reading the tafsirs of al-Jalalayn who often comments on the variants, we have: (wa-li-yastabīna may also be read wa-li-tastabīna, ‘that you may discern’, with sabīla, ‘the way’, read in the accusative [as opposed to the nominative, sabīlu], implying a direct address to the Prophet [s]). I don't know Arabic, so don't know how the grammar works, can you comment?

Interesting, but reading the tafsirs of al-Jalalayn who often comments on the variants, we have: (wa-li-yastabīna may also be read wa-li-tastabīna, ‘that you may discern’, with sabīla, ‘the way’, read in the accusative [as opposed to the nominative, sabīlu], implying a direct address to the Prophet [s]). I don't know Arabic, so don't know how the grammar works. It is odd thought that two students of the same teacher would have different readings (I'm sure there are many more such variants between these two).

Well on the other way around we have arguements about not a single dot or words has been change which is not true.
