Q warranty saved my ass after using an adapter to thread a can on a CZ. Turns out the second shot ruined numerous baffles. I ordered a barrel and shipped the can out the same day, 2 weeks later, Q sent it back no charge. Now I'm looking into an El Camino, bravo Q!

Kevin acts like his shit doesn't stink and there are some issues with some of the products like the mini fix in 300 being somewhat picky about ammo for reliable ignition. There's also the whole welding titanium fiasco from a few years back. At the end of the day they tend to stand behind the majority of their products, but I do agree that they shouldn't be fixing issues created by the end user for free.

I just stumbled upon this on a quiet Sunday morning, where I was listening to the birds chirping outside the window Why in the hell would anyone cut off their own barrel with a 90° shoulder without crowning then add some crappy muzzle device then expect someone who doesn’t even make the muzzle device or did the work on the barrel to warranty the weapon? That’s unreal to me doesn’t make sense. I would never in 1 million years. Expect someone to do that crap to the rifle let alone to warranty something that they did to the rifle. Seeing that done to the weapon that you guys produced hurts all seven of my Engineering chakras No one would warranty that dude, whoever you are out there- get it together

Another “Don’t do this” -> For those out there that are trying to get 1 silencer for every setup…DON’T. I bought a Dead Air Nomad L thinking that I’d use it on my AR-15 and my bolt guns thinking I needed a steel can. I ended up realizing that you need to buy a silencer for each setup. Now I have a dedicated 556 can and just wish I had bought a Q Thunder Chicken for my bolt guns. Now I’ve got a heavy ass steel can on the end of my very light mini fix. Heed my words!

Query: why would you put a muzzle brake on 6.5 Creedmoor? #2 is there a way to install a muzzle device on an 8.6 BO Fix that does *not* provide for a tapered shoulder? I know that Sig Sauer sells an adapter for that purpose… (I would buy a Porq Chop if I could find one)

I have a Fix and Mini-fix. I’ve had to go through Q’s support for a couple issues but they have always been responsive and they always made the problem go away. When they fixed my problem on my Mini-fix I liked their service so much I went out and bought a Fix. Is that too confusing? tldr, Q is a great company.

Hey, Kevin and Q. I have a number of your cans and have been happy with them all. Besides one. I received a trash panda that must of missed quality control. I have a RMA completed and will be sending it back soon. There is slag covering the suppressor from the welds. The center of the end cap hole is .036” off of center and visually noticeable how off it is. It makes contact with my .30 cal bore alignment rod with the cherry bomb on a 90 degree shoulder with my rifle. Not upset I’m sure y’all will fix it. Just disappointed.

I used R38 insulation and wrapped my Trash Panda suppressor with monster tape. Then hot glued the threads, gold platted the entire gun, and made my own bumpstock out of the springs you find inside toilet paper holders.
