I guess it makes sense it's copying his mind. So his mind must be tired of repeating the same notes. And during the faster parts. It is him trying to fight out of it. Or maybe it's the darkness trying to tire him out and let him succumb. Since the darkness sends in more notes during its sections. Like Peter is singing more notes to get rid of it but needs breaks so he goes back to the simple noteplay meanwhile the darkness can spam notes and he is forced to copy. Kinda fucked up now I think about it.

Not a bad song but the repetitiveness is kinda grating Max. Also the instrumental needs a bit of work it's not bad for an eerie vibe but it's repetitive as well. Maybe some drums and other instruments can spice it up also it feels really slow. Like I said this song isn't bad it just needs some touch ups. I know this is random but it reminds me of Misery by J-Phantom the vibe is nice. But did it really have to be four minutes long it feels a little bloated and repetitive that's just me tho tbh.
