Beamtown Bullies is an interesting commander from a meta perspective, because if they do their thing players die very quickly, so there's a degree to which they either get hosed or win hard. On the other side, that play moving the lifelink counter onto the powerstone minefield... you could do the same with a deathtouch counter and it would be glorious, provided you have some way of winning around the mess you've made.

@@QMTG Vandalblast is just way too good to be used for its non-overload cost. There’s an artifact deck and a Kelsien sitting right across as well. It would’ve been good at any point in the game to overload. Even in that situation, the value from getting rid of the Ozolith would’ve been so much more valuable.

Thank you for normalizing the Rule 0 conversation. If more creators emphasized it I think a lot of playgroups would have a better idea what it looks like. The rules committee makes it incredibly vague.

I don’t think an enchantment can do anything with lifelink. The ability life link specifically refers to “this creature”

It does actually. Lifelink actual ruling are as follows: "702.15b Damage dealt by a source with lifelink causes that source’s controller, or its owner if it has no controller, to gain that much life (in addition to any other results that damage causes)." Only on creatures does it shows as "this creature".
