I worked as an Alzheimer's nurse for years. This is truly how it is. You wait for that precious moment. David knocked this one out of the park. All of the emotions from beginning to end. David is a consummate story teller. Always with great passion and vocals.

So Beautiful, but heartbreaking as well. David’s song are so meaningful. Whether they are about faith or just life his music has such depth and meaning. I love his duet with his son Grant “Eye to Eye” on his Game Changer CD. Having sons of my own I really relate. My Mom is in advanced stages of Dementia now and I care for her, so Hello Beautiful also takes on more meaning for me. Thank you David for all your grace, love and compassion expressed through your music.

This is such a beautiful song about a godly marriage. A few criticized David for going away from Christian music. But just because the song doesn't mentioned Jesus, doesn't mean it isn't a Christian song. People need to hear songs like this to see what a true godly marriage is like. He wrote all of the songs for this CD. He just thinks outside the box. In his "Stories and Songs DVD, he had Maggie Beth sing a song he wrote over 20 years ago that is so touching - "He's Still My Child." You can see his heart here, too. He is so creative!

"going away from Christian music"???? SERIOUSLY?! i can't even believe (well, i can) anyone would say that. i k now this isn't you, Ruth, but UGH - why are soooo many christians so incredibly judgemental????? uuuuuuugh you are so right about the godly marriage piece. also, you can't get people to come to Jesus by only singing amazing grace and stuff. you have to reach people where they are, and THIS is where people are. grrrrr

See this video in 2024, I think that is not out of Christian Music, because a godly marriage is a part more important of The Bible that God we done

After nearly 35 years of marriage, I lost my husband to many, mini strokes, epilepsy and seizures leaving him with dementia! After 13 years I also lost my Mom to breast cancer and A!zheimers! I had also lost my grandmother to Alzheimer's, as well! I thought that this song was going to be just a sweet love song, imagine my disbelief when I heard it and yes, I kept tissues in my home!! Each time I watch it, it takes me back to those times with each of my loved ones and relive those times together!!This sweet, Godly love story breaks my heart over it each time I hear it!! My Mom passed away last year. She had Dementia and her decline was so rapid. It was heartbreaking to watch my Dad with her. They were married at 18 and had been married 63 years when she left us. This song will touch the heart of a lot of people who have personally felt the cruelty of this disease.

Such a beautiful song. Every time I hear it it reminds me of my mom. For 12 years trapped in darkness knowing no one. Alzhiemer's is a cruel and devastating disease. 'HELLO BEAUTIFUL' teaches us to spend as much time as we can with the one we love because we never know when this ugly life destroyer will take them from us. Thank you DAVID for this heart breaking but beautiful song about unwaivering love, even when your loved one doesn't know who your are.....Thanks Lyle for your honest and emotional reaction. No one but DAVID can sing so beautifully and tell a story so heartfeltly. There is healing in this song and many he writes about life's Joy's and sorrows.🙏🎼❤🎶🙏

@Patrol Gaming, I have watched this since the time of your reaction. I haven't said anything because I have been struggling with this topic. Years ago I worked at a facility for the elderly. There were some unfortunate younger patients that were incapacitated. After awhile they put me permanently on the Alzheimer's wing. They liked the way I treated the patients and they seemed to respond to me. I now have a family member that is in the beginning stages. It is moving pretty fast. What breaks my heart most of all is that I know what lies ahead. I respect your very apparent caring attitude. Thank you for the work you do. I love the song and yes David does it again!
