That final swell and verse get me choked up every time. Honestly one of the most heartfelt records I've heard in a long time. It really does feel just as much art; you can hear the care in the music, and how important it was for him to make this record and bring himself back to a better place. No fictional, impersonal lyrics, just blunt and raw emotion. I've had my own personal issues like this a few years back and learned a lot myself of acceptance and everything else he talks about. It was real weird watching some of his interviews and listening to him describe exactly what I went through. Album stands killer alone without the backstory, but when I heard it, gave me a whole other level of respect - inspirational af! 🙌
