I've tried to going close to metropolis 2 and images & words sound....for sure the guitar but also his type of playing make the difference. ...we can say "inspired to". 👋🏻

Distortion sounds different and a little muddy , lead tone lacking a lot of body, and the clean tone is closer.

I was resist not to say, but I can't... Unfortunately... It's not your fault, but this wah pedal sound in Pull Me Under lead part is just awful.... Forget about to mimic on Cortex JP wah sound just get and try out JP95 Crybaby John Petrucci signature pedal.... There is no other pedal sounding soooo sweet like this one... I've tested many Wah pedals....once you try your jaw will drop on the floor😎👍it's entirely different sweep frequencies plus you can remove bottom cover and adjust EQ.... true, now with the new firmware update also Cortex has the possibility to modify and change freq parameter, for sure it's a good upgrade

doesn't really catch Petruccis tone at all. Sounds completely different, but probably because of the PRS guitar as well.
