@Circlotron5 жыл бұрын
The principle is right, the numbers are wrong. Each 4 cyl engine fires every 180 deg so the phasing of each number 1 cyl should be 0 deg, 45 deg, 90 deg, 135 deg, then the front engine picks it up again at 180 deg and so on. Less stress on that long and flexy crank and would sound way cool!
@kevt94425 жыл бұрын
It would make no difference in power output, it would only smooth the power pulses. You can't even archive proper balance with 2 4cyl together so there's no point getting complicated with it.
@mharrison13254 жыл бұрын

mysock351C; theoretically YES! I believe it could be done with the result of a very smooth running "Masterpiece" (for lack of a better word)!!! The position of the 4 cranks should work together to eliminate any vibration without a harmonic balancer. I can just picture it now; the ?frame? Self disintegrating w/tires going one way, engines (still running) going in 4 different ways, Lada body w/driver(screaming) being launched over finish line...ROTFLMAO!!!!! Captain BUCKLEY (ret.)

This project was pretty cool. The bootedboiz, should check them out, are trying to figure out how to build a twin Honda engine car in a Toyota supra calling it the 2kz cuz instead of putting a 2jz engine their putting 2 honda k20's in it. They haven't started building it yet though but hopefully soon they will. I commented on their video telling them about this so they could see how easily you guys put the engines together. I think their trying to directly connect the crank of the front engine to the front pulley of the rear engine so we'll see how it turns out. Should be pretty bad ass!

In the history of Lada there was not a single report or customer complaint about one breaking down yet. It may or may not have something to do with the phone line for "Lada customer service" being disconnected since 1971.

Not so cold that you have to leave a motor running!...…. But, when that old sun goes down like a rock you gotta wear mittens which are fun to work precision with. Fortunately, not so cold you can't drink coffee and film. (Of course you keep a car running with warm coffee and donuts inside). "No booze guys until we get back to home base." Nice video!
@simosc30125 жыл бұрын

@@braydenkorpesio9981 At least it beats something i guess. Although 4 lada engines daisy chained together is not much of a challenge.
@TwinShards5 жыл бұрын
You should have weld the top of the 4 engines together to make them stay synchronized. When they were shaking side to side it was getting desynchronized, and by that making the motor(s) much less efficient.
