Alsp my j-11 had the vert stabilizers already on. Wheels werent. Maybe a 2nd version. Mine is about 3 months old.

Love this jet!! Got the grey j-11 a100. Went ahead and ordered the white su27 a100 I like it so much! Its great because beginners and intermediate flyers can do some awesome tricks.

Nice aircraft and nice flying. Oh, in slow rate, if you want to turn sharper, use aileron to get the acft on its side and then use a little up elevator and you will turn faster. Hope this helps your turns in the slow rate. Happy Flying

@Quadcopter 101 do you recommend the xk a100 or the f949S (the one with gyro) more? i dont have a very large space and im a beginner pilot. your recommendation would be very appreciated 👍 thank you 😃

The F949s is a much gentler flier. Very appropriate for beginner pilots.

can the gyro be altered whatsoever for high alpha slow flight? I sometimes enjoyed the slow cruise of the 2 channel models as well. just curious

not a gyro issue. increase the nose-up moment; at the deflection angle of the horiz-stab trailing edge. tape can be used to form, two fixed trim tabs. cheers

David Davids I’m more concerned the gyro would correct the elevators, making high alpha impossible. I didn’t see if the gyro could be disabled.

@@tegdif111 it is clear that you do NOT Understand that, such a model has NO Control surfaces; just yaw and throttle.. the gyro, IF THERE IS ONE, can ONLY adjust Yaw.

David Davids I must not understand something. This model is labeled as a 3 channel and shows a small servo controlling an elevator on the rear. I was under the impression that this was an update to a 2 channel.

I’d like to paint it myself to make it close to the Ukrainian SU-27s. Any recommendations on if paint would affect the weight or it’s flight. Also what type of paint?

Not binding is usually caused by faulty batteries in either the controller or airplane.

It's called Hovering. But am guessing that you mean automatically. In that case you would use the term Position Hold.

Has anyone else noticed that if you turn off the Tx before the plane the motors can run flat out? Or am I "first"? Actually just saw that the reviewer did mention this fault in his video of the other Xk a100 and the XK A110 Reaper. But forgot to mention it here. Range is excellent and works a treat apart from this dumb idea!

I didn't mention it here as it seems to be a safety feature. If the airplane is flown out of range of the transmitter, one engine will spin up faster than the other, causing the airplane to circle and descend to a landing. The intent is to give the pilot a chance to regain transmission to the aircraft while it's circling, hopefully to enable the pilot to bring it in closer..

thanks for posting. trust me, this model is not 'amazing'. this type of two-channel control, is Most suitable for use on a Slow flying, light-weight model. this model qualifies. note that when a model of this type is flown at higher-than nominal airspeeds, often there is excess 'climb' and/or other issues. cheers googletranslate
