This is an awesome plane for $75. I bought one to learn on and ended up crashing the heck out of it. Had to make many repairs and even break out the model paint on a few occasions. I just replaced the motor and this thing is still soaring with the birds!

which is best the v761-3 or the v761-1? i think the v761-3 comes with a bigger battery.... i am a begginer, i dont know why one to buy.

Hi. Thanks for this review. I still flight my BIX3 almost all weekend and publish my videos about what a I learn with him and all can learn too. It's a great RC Airplane to learn, I say that in all my videos. The fact of BIX3 have landing gear is advantage in my opinion to learn to do great landings. And have Flaps... How it differs from 761-1 version??

According to the original QC101 video the "Volantex V761-1 Trainstar 6-Axis Gyro Mini 400mm Wingspan Airplane RTF" certainly did have auto stabilization the same as this. The differences between the 2 are that this has a 500mm wingspan (vs 400mm) and runs a much bigger battery. Would anyone with this to hand care to post whether the prop motor is still the original 8.5x20mm geared unit?

Perhaps you were thinking of the VolantexRC 781-1 - available lots of years ago as the Lanyu TW781. That was a non-stabilized infrared controlled skeleton Micro Trainstar. Now available as the 2.4ghz Volantex 781-1. Check it out at the "EXHOBBY" site.

You're right Quad, that does seem to be a perfect plane for the beginner ! Stabilization works very well and would seem to keep panic factor down to a minimum !! Good video, as usual !

Is that a bigger motor than the 761-1? If not the flight time will be _very_ long. I do like these as they are just so relaxing. Unless the wind picks up. I do not like the return function

If the A600 were ever issued in EPP it would indeed be a far superior unit. But in fragile EPS for the average user the Volantex V761-3 will be still airworthy long after the A600 has been gutted & the bits of styrofoam consigned to the trash.
