It is a good option. But if you like using your phone in landscape mode. Water gets into the usc port of the phone. Get a usb c, micro usb or lighting dust cap if you like to us landscape mode. Just and obsevation as i like landscape view with my phone. It is super annoying to get the mousture in the usb port notification. And need to wait for the port to drive out when not on the bike. When using a chari g cable it help prevent ra8n from gett8ng into the phone port.

Hi Tony, thanks!! I have the Quad Lock system for my bike (the same Slim you have) and in my car. But as I understand it only works with certain (later) phones... What phone do you use here?

I have the iPhone XS. Your phone has to have wireless charging for the head to work.

Do you have to use quad locks cases or can you use your own case and install it on the quad? I’m wanting something but I’ve spent good money on hard cases for my phone for good reason. Solid vid man👍🏾

Quad Lock actually has a small little 3M sticky attachment you can put on any phone case. I bought the Quad Lock phone case but it was so snug that it pushed up on my screen protector. But the little 3M stick on attachment is cheap and awesome.

Thanks for the vid. I have the original (non-charging) quadlock base on my bike. It has the lever on the side to release your phone. I didnt notice one in your vid with the new one. Is your phone released with the 2 small "wing" looking things on the sides of the mount?

It seems to keep up. Not gaining any charge but not losing any with Nav going. Charges just fine when not using the Nav.
