I have a Quadrafire 1200I similar but a little more involved screws do not appear to be accessible, I only see the thread end. I think this fan is most likely my issue. I have a 3 position rocker switch on the right side when it is in the low position the stove functions properly. If I start stove on low its ok but if toggled to medium or High the fan stops blowing and turns very slow but returns to normal if I put back to low. If I start on low and it get up to temp then toggle it to med / high it does blow heat into the room but the fire stops dancing in the pot and again fan spins very slowly. .

Thanks for the video guys. Good job! Mine is just like that but the wife finds it too noisy. I already cleaned and all. I was wondering if I can disconnect the fan and leave it disconnected. Will this cause any malfunctioning? Would it work just like any other fireplace, except that it drops pallets every other minute? We're fine if the heat doesn't dissipate. We just went want the fire going. Your input is really appreciated as you seem to really know what you're doing. Keep on the good mood!

Best not to disconnect the fan. The stove will overheat. Also, most likely the high sensor will trip causing the auger to stop feeding pellets and the stove will shut down. Most importantly....the safety of you and family. Please do not disconnect the fan.

There are OEM and Non OEM fans available. They are pretty quite. Maybe a new one may be the direction. Not too sure how loud your existing fan is. Thank You for watching our videos. Please subscribe

does it matter which wire connects to which? My new fan has 2 white wires

It shouldn’t matter if the new fan has two of the same color. 👍🏼

Usually a new fan comes with two different colored wires. With two the same, you should be fine to connect and finish the job. Hope this helps...subscribe. Thank You
