Nice little system. If you connect a radio to the same solution and use FLRig clicking on the map or windows (dxcluster, spots, etc) the radio will go to that band and frequency. It's actually a nice visual addition in the shack. I run it from a Raspberry Pi 4B. 73 Phil ON4VP

You should pass this along to Eldon. He's keep to publish different ways of creating his HamClock. He's a very approachable guy. Takes suggestions well and works hard to work upgrades into his code. One of the things I asked for was GPSD. Almost the next day he had an update including it. Solid guy.

Fairly new to LINUX. Do you happen to have documentation or a video to help setup GPSD on my QUADRA? Your info would be appreciated. TIA.

I found it online for under 60 bucks. Sure, you can do all this on another system. But for the price, it's ready to go. All setup, all nice parts and components, etc. It's worth every penny.

You can easily run this in docker on a pi and view it from any web browser on your network. No additional hardware needed if you already have a pi.

I just received mine and set it up as you said, following your excellent, clear instructions. It worked straight away and looks cool. As I hadn't read the Quick Start (RTFM?) I didn't know that you needed to press Fn and F2 to cycle through the colours available on the keyboard, so had no backlight to start with. I am sure there will be people as slow as I am, so one word of advice when setting up the plastic stand: remember that the fan will be fitting into it, so press it together with the ridges *up* to take the fan. (I know, who could be stupid enough to forget that?!)

I have mine a few months, and simple to use and a great asset to my radio room, highly recommended.

Interesting - I think the main benefit is as an independent monitor with the screen. Just looking at it via a browser you might as well use an online application. Standalone, it would be a great use for an obsolete Android tablet. That one you have in the draw, with the dodgey battery, that you have not used in years but seems too nice to throw away. Edit - Note to clarify, I mean using the tablet as a display, not to run the software. IT could do that via the web interface.

Cool device. You asked for suggestions on using it. Try to have it show ship or aircraft positions near you using SDR ADS-B or SDR AIS information on the screen.

It is nice that more products like this are coming but I think I like the DigiPi more because of the simple fact of all digital modes by a web browser.

Nice product. Just the postage is a killer to Australia from USA. Nearly the same price.

I had this system running for about 4 months and retired it when my Raspberry Pi 5 came in. Not sure what I will do with it as it has little power and slow on most of the apps.

This is a nice set up BUT it would be more useful to me as PC program. Even though the unit is small the required monitor is not. If it were on my PC I would run the program when desired.
