@@QuadrajetPowerLLC welcome. I'll be sending my Quadrajet to you soon. I made the mistake of putting fresh gas in an old, empty, gas tank and after doing a basic rebuild of my carb disaster struck. I guess the old gas residue "rehydrated" and got in everything except the secondaries. This is a 1972 carb so I'm sure it needs a proper rebuild by a professional.

wish i watched this this before i tried to remove throttle blades..broke 2 screws..one primary one secondary..would they be ok with just one screw on reassembly..i know its not right but will it work

Can I swap the base from a electronic carb over to a non electronic so I can gain the use of the the TV cable mount? Without having a bunch of headaches?

It would be best to swap the primary shaft from one to the other.

Could you guys build me up a Quadrajet for my mild 351w? Yes sir, I'm putting a Quadrajet on my Ford. I just ordered an Offenhauser spreadbore intake for it. I'm a diehard Ford man but the Quadrajet is absolutely the best carburetor ever built!!!

I don't understand, how much more would it be to recolor the exterior? It's cheap protection & makes the carburetor pop!!! With all the detail on the inside it just makes sense. Maybe the customer doesn't have the extra money? Nice informative channel. I need all new sprigs & hardened shaft screws. I will be placing an order soon. Thanks!!!!!

What solution do you use in your ultrasonic cleaner? I need to clean and rebuild a quadrajet from a 1968 GTO (not Ram Air). I know certain solutions discolor aluminum. I was planning on using Simple Green SMP 13406 Extreme Aircraft and Precision Cleaner which states that it is safe for aluminum.

I see that that is one of the Carter (Manufactured by Carter Carburetor for GMC) versions. What's y'alls opinion of those compared to the Rochester models?

Carter produced many Quadrajets through several years. They were built to the same spec for calibrations as the Rochester. So there shouldn't be any difference between a Carter produced and Rochester produced unit. However, we do see some casting failures more with the early Carter units. We might prefer the Rochester produced, but that is not always an option on these early carbs.

Wow those poor primary metering rods. Looks like someone pressed the air horn down before properly setting power piston in place. Geeeze.
