Ok i don't know any of this alpha ir beta thing However the way i tried to solve with trail method First i assumed a= 2 and b = -1 (2)Cube + (-1) cube = 7 2-1 = 1 So x×x- x-2 4-2-2 = 0 Am i right ?

By hit and trial we know that (-1) + 2 = 1 And (-1)³ + 2³ = 7 Hence alpha = -1 and beta = 2 So, x²-x -2 = 0

If it is b you know it has to have 2 complex solutions so it’s not b and for c it’s obviously one of the solutions is zero so you can plug in 0 for one of the variables and you get the other variable is just 1 but 1^3 is not 7 and assuming it’s not none the answer is a

First u have to do cube in both sides then need to put values and alpha times beta will be -2 and product of roots is c by a so x2-x-2 = 0 is the correct answer Otherwise u can put the values of alpha beta in every equation to see where it stands zero

It’s so easy. Because first is the only quadratic equation which has all negative term except first and it equals to zero. Also roots cube is in positive. So remaining all the are incorrect.

See , a³+b³=(a+b)(a²+b²-ab) We know a+ b = 1 , and ab= -2 substitute in that above equation , we get a³+b³= (1)(a²+b²-(-2)) a³+b³=a²+b²+2 Then we know that a²+b²=(a+b)²-2ab Substitute in that equation a³+b³=(a+b)²-2ab + 2 Now again substitue a+b=1 and ab=-2 a³+b³=(1)²-2(-2)+2=1+4+2=7
