Quadrophenia is my favourite movie of all time I got into being a mod through the jam and through them I got really into the who when I was nine years old in 1979 and watched the film on video in 1981 and must of watched it hundreds of times and the whole mod movement has shaped my life ever since and like the saying goes once a mod always a mod and the who and quadrophenia is a massive part of my life I have really enjoyed the review and thanks for reliving it for me.

Ok. I really hope you read this. The Who are my favorite band. THE ONLY band that deeply matters to me. I'm 41. I have an older brother who's been a massive Who fan since the Moon days. This is how I caught the bug. He watched TKAA all the time, and I'd always join if I could as far back as I can remember. Eventually I'd start watching it by myself. Over and over again. I loved the humor and craziness. That's what entertained my young aprox 10 yro mind. Heading into HS I started playing guitar all the while The Who being the driving force. I was beginning to REALLY get them. I saw them for my first time in 1996 Madison Sq Garden. They accompanied me in my typical isolation, during walks to and from school, basically whenever I needed them, they were there. I joined a metal band that became locally successful. Again, as always, The Who my driving force. I went into a long 15yr downward spiral into drug abuse. The Who basically went with me. Through those years I'd seen them over a dozen times. Now that I'm older and sober for the past 15 or so years, I personally deemed myself one of the biggest Who fans in America. Don't know if it's true. Probably not but I don't care. My house is laden with Who rugs, pictures & posters, etc. My guitar collection is all Who inspired. SG's, Goldtop LP's, The US Custom Shop black Schecter PT, Strats, and acoustics of different makes and models. This was a very brief explanation of my love for this band. Please don't get this shorthandedness confused. I get them. Theres something more to them than any other band I like. Their like gods to me. Pete in particular. They define me. My older brothers adoration for them has been left in the dust to my fanaticism, although he's still a big fan. Anyway, finding you guys this month was a godsend. I don't know how I didn't find this channel earlier. The Who are my world. I'd love to share this adoration that not many others understand, with you guys. It'd be an honor to speak with like minded people about the undeniable greatest rock band of all time. THE WHO. LONG LIVE ROCK!

@FisherProtocol already saw it lol. I've binged yout channel for the few weeks. Is there a channel membership? I'd love to join. Would you ever think about having Who fanatic guests on to chat about why we all agree they are easily the best bands ever? I'd love to be a part of that. I would finally be able to talk about detailed info on the band, individual members, the music, the lore, etc to people that would know immediately what I'm talking about.

The scene in the bath house was to establish both characters, social class solidly working class and no higher... and equal stripped of any outward appearances. A central theme of quadraphenia was that appearance was a bankrupt thing to chase that it means nothing, life had to have substance and individuality...Monkey was actually the real only decent kid.

The review was fun! I love the movie because I was at least part Jimmy and I saw it in 1981 when I was 14. Very relatable for me even though I lived in Hawaii. The album is my favorite album of all time! Long live rock! Long live The Who!!!
