Tarikh Episode 246
Tarikh is a daily program in which we present you with incidents and stories of noteworthy persons of Indian History in Hindi. In this edition of Tarikh, Divyanshi talks about Satyendra Nath bose contribution to physics and science in general. SN Bose along with Meghnad Saha was first to translate the Einstein general Relativity Research paper.. He is best known for his work on quantum mechanics in the early 1920s, in developing the foundation for Bose statistics and the theory of the Bose condensate. The class of particles that obey Bose statistics, bosons, was named after Bose by Paul Dirac. Bosde also Collaborated with Albert Einstein to develop the Bose Einstein Statistics. The real hero of quantum physics is Satendranath Bose ❤ Satyendra Nath Bose, an Indian hero of the scientific world, left an indelible mark with his pioneering work in the early 20th century. In 1924, his collaboration with Albert Einstein gave birth to Bose-Einstein statistics, a milestone in quantum mechanics. This achievement not only propelled Bose into the annals of scientific history but also solidified his status as a national hero in India. His legacy as a trailblazing physicist and a symbol of Indian scientific excellence continues to inspire generations worldwide.

An excellent brief history of the discovery of Bose statistics in Hindi. Bose statistics is the foundation stone for Bose-Einstein condensate (BEC), later formulated by Albert Einstein for particles with non-zero chemical potential. BEC is said to be the 4th state of matter, experimental observation of which won the Nobel Prize in Physics in 2001.

Corrections: 1) Higgs boson doesn’t give mass; Higgs field gives mass to fundamental particles. Higgs bosons are just excitations in the Higgs field that manifest as particles. 2) Proton isn’t a fundamental particle, it’s a composite particle made up of quarks. Proton doesn’t get mass from Higgs field. Quarks get mass from Higgs field. But quarks contain only ~1% of proton’s mass. (Same for neutrons). Rest of the mass comes from the binding energy of quarks and gluons (because of E=m*c^2). 3) In E = n*h*f, only h is the Planck’s constant. n is just the number of quanta of light i.e. photons.

I have consumed multiple of hundreds of hours of Lallantop content... Somehow i was always put off by your renditions primarily because of your specific style of speech delivery. . Which I felt was artificial... it is clear to me now that I was being judgemental. ... 😢 Thankfully the KZbin algorithm popped up your this episode... I do agree that there would be others on the team who would have contributed. .. But I'm almost certain there is a lot of you... here.. I am blown away and totally converted. . with all due respect, Tarik Team. Main galat ho sakta hun, at 05:10, the anchor explains Plank's Equation, there was a mistake in defining the equation's term. ( nh was defined as a constant coefficient) but, " N refers to the nth state of vibration. f is the frequency of the lowest energy state, h is a constant called the Planck constant, and En is known as the energy of the nth level of vibration ", hence " nh" will be constant when we are specifically stating the Equation for En, ( for general terms, only 'h' is const., called Plank's const. , and "nh" term may vary.) PS : Please release more Tarik episodes or sciencekari episodes related to similar topics, Barvi mein toh Physics wale master ji se dande he khaae hai, chlo yehi karle gyaan arjet. 😇

Thanks

I surprised that western culture scientist believe in lord Shiva but some Indian folks question him ! And in Indian culture we are saying from billions of year that Kan kan me bhagwan hai! I am Physics profesor in delhi university
