Dogma is different than hypothesis and theory. Both can change with new evidence... Religion has things like dogma, rituals and celebrations, leadership and rules, beliefs...etc. Big bang is just a theory that can change as we learn more about the reality in which we inhabit. We are still working on time and gravity. Let's slow down with the "definitive" claims. Which science doesn't make. 😊. Whenever I am asked. Well who created God... Duh.. humans that didn't like "not knowing" and a corrupt control group created God as a means to prevent civil discourse and the pursuit of knowledge. Which is why Christianity created the fruit of knowledge good and evil yarn.

That's not an idea born from scientific methodology or learning though, it comes from a different kind of scummy institution --- that of Capital. Some guys who went to college to learn business get together, come up with some Sci fi sounding idea, like a space motel, or a new gadgetbahn monorail, or a flying car, or a high tech city. Then they do some 3D mockups. Then they go, no, not to researchers or scientists or universities, but to some egotistical billionaire in Saudi Arabia who has it (if its remotely possible) built with slave labor, and it becomes some ridiculous tourist attraction for instagrammers. It's not religious, nor is it scientific. It's just a plain old, mundane scam. P.S Religion requires a spiritual element. As in there must be spirits. Even the one atheistic religion I know of, Jainism, involves a belief in spiritual powers.
