In only 18 minutes this series managed to give these characters so much developement. And though the scenes were cliche, the story is progressing well. Judah may be a character that some people will not like so much, but I find him so facisnating and his development is so nuanced but also relatable for someone who is supposed to be between being a young adult and adulthood. His actions make sense and him being a millenial some of his attributes are spot on.

He probably feels like what his grandma said is true and he's afraid he's not worthy of love. He's desperate to prove her wrong so he's looking for someone who will love him. Imagine someone you love, trust, and raised you telling you that nobody will ever love you for you. That shit hurts even with minimal trauma. In saying something like that especially in a generalized tone, it sounded like maybe she didn't love him either and his grandma is really all the support he had because she raised him. I feel so bad for him.

Quranthings and GameBoys are very different in so many ways, but the acting by the lead actors, Royce and Kyo are are as superb as Kokoy and Elijah in GameBoys. GameBoys is easily superbly watchable due to its impeccable writing, acting and directing, but Quaranthings has something special that probably most BL shows do not offer. I love that Quaranthings chose to have these mature and rich dialogues, to which many viewers can surely relate. And let me just go back to the leads acting - that emotional nakedness in their characters. Royce, honestly didn’t surprise me coz I know how good he is, but Kyo just surprises me each episode. I don’t know if I making sense, but Kyo has this unguarded acting style wherein he’s not scared to appear petty, ugly, etc.

In Judas eyes, I really can feel his pain through his eyes. He is a good actor he can portray his role very nice. We can feel what he feels and when he cries he shows lots of emotions. I do really like Rocky in this part, he also shows someone who still in closet and being ready to come out. I'm not satisfied with the airing time because it's only 16 minutes. I really need more And we should wait till next week again

Good afternoon here in Colombia, well this chapter of "QUARANTHINGS THE SERIES", was excellent I loved that "JUDAH" has set limits in a way to "ROCKY" that he does not have to fall in love alone, that they were friends on the floor, but that to "ROCKY" like that did not fit him by much and see in the end that excena with the other boy left him shocked. Still clueless on how will the characters resolve their conflicts towards the end. I felt like there are still a lot of questions unanswered. I think something is still missing and I'm so excited for that to fly in the last two episodes. Well, some context clues were present sa trailer mismo and other things like the live sessions, interviews and a lot from the cast and crews from various YT channels I watched. (huhu). Yes, there are a lot including Rocky's POV pero there is still a missing link eh..Hmmmn.. Pero I don't trust my predictions this time kasi I know it will be a surprise. Given the circumstances and the fact na last 2 eps na lang, I think the story is designed na hanggang 8 eps talaga kasi they already grounded it tsaka dun sa mismong ground na un lumabas ung mga issues na nireresolve as it ends.. pero we will never know until ROD makes the final and official say. I'm more convinced to the idea that we can explore Rocky and Judah's story after the pandemic. Like, how will they deal with the outside world?Housemates nga dba 😅. Pero I think mej mahirap kasi may covid pa pero who knows. Sa ngaun, I think puwedz rin ung pre-covid set-up. Malay natin nagmeet na pala sila Judah and Rocky before quarantine pero di lang sila nagkakilala noh..Again and again, #QuaranthingsTheSeries will always have a special place in my heart. 💕💕

This series reminds me of me and my ex. Caught him kissing other guy in my condo wherein he was staying. I tried calling him for how many times. Asking if he was in the condo or not. He's overcompensating for that initial premature passion and attachment by distancing himself in an equally unbalanced way - trying to force their relationship back into an acquaintanceship stage that feels unnatural for both of them given how familiar they are with each other at this point. Essentially, Rocky is honourable and kindhearted. That's why he returned to nurse Judah back to health and we see Judah in the familiar position of his head resting on Rocky's crotch while the latter strokes his hair and forehead. Very touching. It's then time to reset things between them. Rocky goes out and returns, ready to be more what Judah wants of him (and looking extra sexy in that dark singlet with a little red rose on it), but he walks into his room where he unexpectedly finds Glenn kissing Judah. In the looks department, Glenn isn't a patch on Rocky. It's a new dilemma for both Rocky and Judah.

Well Fox isn't exactly a kit either and can totally relate with that awkward feeling of being outnumbered by the kids. It's funny to read that many of them are watching BL on the DL. I feel so blessed to be drowned in an ocean of BL series. The epidemic seems to have created a burst of creativity. I too wish there was a BL representation of the grown and sexy not grownish. I'm also an oldster. When I first encountered BL, I was attracted to the very notion of it. Growing up, there was no representation of my teen experience, and I've always thought the greatest value of BL series is their tackling of the various issues that confront gay kids and providing an entertaining outlet and representation on screen for gay kids. Life might have been quite different in a positive way if I had had access to these stories when I was a teenager. As to older folks, I guess mainstream media, TV and film makers, have been creating more story lines for gay characters. BL is a unique genre, and its fan base is clearly teens and those in their twenties, many if not most of whom are young women. It was created by women, which is why it can be frustrating for gay men sometimes. I am often disappointed in the quality of the shows but also often delighted. My experience of BL has evolved over time, but I still look forward to each new series and enjoy following them. A new genre devoted to older, more mature, gay characters would look very different and have a very different fan base. It wouldn't be BL at all.

Oh dear .... Hmmmmmm.... what now? I happened to have noticed Glenn at the beginning of this series. He's very good-looking and seems to be a sweet person too. Looks like Hao Ting (Wayne) in the Taiwanese BL series Make Our Days Count. This series is very well-written. The characters, all of them, are so real, clear, distinctive. The dialogue is utterly true and plausible. The scenes are constructed with ingenuity.
