Jorma, GREAT to hear you mention Steve Talbott, also known as T. A. Talbott, right? I always figured he took the name Richmond because he worked a lot in the train yards in Richmond, CA. But that could be a wrong supposition. I remember a beautiful small guitar he made out of an old oak dresser with amazing flame grain on it. What a great singer and player and, exactly as you say, a totally authentic bluesman. (He left very few, but luckily some, recordings.) Though I mostly knew him in Berkeley in the '60s , the last time I saw Steve he was riding a bicycle in Chico, CA. Must've been near the end of his life. Thanks for the great music and stories, Jorma.

Muchas gracias, and I am glad to know that Richman Talbot is remembered, even by Kareem. I've passed it on to Mira, and to Eric and Suzy Thompson. Suzy has Richman's guitar. .I remember a story that Richman then Steve provided the name Jefferson Airplane. .

Always enjoy the shows, just so you guys know the troubadour is in major financial trouble because of the coronavirus lockdown in California. Due to Gavin Newsome's lockdown, they may not be able to open for another year. They have a GoFundMe site trying to keep the troubadour open, maybe a mention of the next Saturday. It would be pathetically sad to lose such a great venue and a piece of rock history. Heck, that place should be a museum by now. Tuna forever.

New to the site. Know nutun bout Hot tuna or furpeace ranch . But im a picker and enjoy the guitars and unplugged stuff. Seems the volume is real low I got you turned up all tne way.
