Managed to get a ballot place for London so now training to run my first marathon! Will be happy to finish but looking forward to following your challenge and in awe!

20 years and 42 (I Think) marathons and still chasing sub 3, this goal has motivated me through lockdown, I still have belief even at 57, just take it week by week, you will get there, it just can’t be rushed, you just need to believe.👍

From Jay I am aiming my sub 4 this year as well. I just started running last October. Please share your training to be sub 4. What I do is run 10k on Tuesday and Thursday and 21k to 24k on Saturday. I started doing it for 5 weeks now. I improved a lot except last week. My half was 1:51. Please share your thoughts and your training to be under 4. Thanks.

Now I've got my ambitions set on a sub 30 minute 5k with the hope of completing a race some pointthis year. Nothing compared to Anna's challenge but it's definitely a start. I just want to say thanks to TRC for the great content. This channel had motivated me to run and I’ve learnt so much about running. I’m aged 40 and have never been a runner on a regular basis. I took up running during this pandemic. I’m now running about 25-27 miles a week and have a marathon set in mind. Not sure about sub-4 but I’ll be stoked to finish the race before 4:30.

Go for it Anna.. you can easily do it, one thing I’ve learnt about lockdown is that it’s motivated me more to go running more than anything, I’ve only been running for six years and achieved so much than I ever imagined I could do, and I’m in my late 50,’s, but it’s been instrumental I’m my well being and mental health during this pandemic, if you’ve got it in you then you can do it, I’ve ran everyday this year so far because my running club set challenges to keep us going, I’m aiming for the club record of 197 days of at least a mile a day, I’m averaging four miles a day and I’m on 60 days now so less than halfway.. hard yes.. but plenty left in my tank.. good luck.

Just stumbled across this channel last week and finding it truly inspirational. Your team and videos are amazing! Since the Pandemic started I’ve gone from 265lbs down to 175lbs, running 5ks to running HMs 2-3 times per month and I’ve just finished the 4 miles every 4 hours for 48 hours challenge, finishing with just under 53 miles total over the 48hr period. I’m currently setting my sights on completing my first marathon in September...I still feel like I’m a long way off so I’ll be tuning in to your journey for motivation! I am so excited for you Anna. This channel has been a great source of community for me as I am a solo runner and need to see “normal” people run as opposed to (exclusively) watching machines like Killian and Mo. I am currently trying to lower my 14 year old marathon pb too....chasing the unicorn with you and also chasing my 25 year old self!
