Fascinating interview. A rare look at Quarterflash as they just started to climb the charts in their stunning run. This is great because it catches them at so early a point that the viewer can sense the band knows the hard to reach unlikely goal of mega rock success is just about to happen. The viewer can sense the excitement.

Had to be devastating to be pushed out of the picture by the grunge, or as it was called in Portland, scruffs, back in the mid eighties. They did alright coming from Portland.

Cory you make an interesting point. The grunge scene also started in the Pacific Northwest, I think. The decline in musicianship over the past 20 years has been astonishing and nowhere has it been more so than the upper left-hand corner of the country.
