A truly great and talented act! The strength of Marv and Rindy Ross’s writing and Rindy’s flawless and sexy vocal acrobatics made them irresistible! Also there is no denying Rindy’s great Sax playing !!This early appearance show’s they were destined for big things as history showed ! 👍😊

I was a freshman in high school when this aired and begged my grandparents (who I lived with at the time). They actually liked it.

Love Rindy!! Saw them in Pittsburgh about 1980, BLOWN AWAY! Been a HUGE fan ever sense, probably listen to them every few days, (for 40 years now), great band...

Probably later in the 80's -- they did not get to Pittsburg before signing with Geffen in 1980 and only started touring about 1982.

Loved this song before the early 1980's when it was overproduced & more whiny. It played on the radio in the early 1970's maybe 1973? I loved it SO MUCH! Can that awesome voice switch seamlessly back & forth from the saxophone? Just spectacular! When Harden My Heart was re-released under the new band's name, Quarterflash, I argued with people! (By then my family had left the beautiful Pacific Northwest for California.) I said Quarterflash who?! This is a Northwest treasure, Rindy Ross with Seafood Mama! She's the best!

Not in the early 70's. No one heard that song before 1980 -- and in that year it only sold 10,000 copies.

Me encanta todo el aura amateur que tienen, y sin embargo ya estaban a un paso de la gloria. Que grandes! Rindy ❤

This is SO interesting; look how different Lead Singer Rindy looked, this was BEFORE they were mega-famous. 1963 Beatles had a similar situation, just their faces looked vastly different, almost 'amateurish!'

I prefer this version of the band. It's rawer without the dated synth sound of the 80s. It's like a blues band with sultry vocal.

No problem with the band drowning out her beautiful voice. I barely heard the band.
