Never Found This Before! - Metal Detecting Around a 1745 Colonial Home For Lost Treasures!

So Doug and I are travelling this week but rather than leaving you all in the lurch, I'm going to post some extra videos in our absense! This video is from earlier this year where we got access to a beautiful 1745 property. There were some pretty remarkable things found including one of us getting an amazing old piece we've never found before, along with one of the very first coins ever made in our new country!

That ring is gorgeous! I think after you clean the back of the stone. The gem will probably be an aquamarine! It's gotten faded from being in the damp ground for alot of years. Great treasure!

Cool video. Great coin!!! I actually found a Ford hubcap just like that in my front yard when I first started metal detecting. There were other metal parts leading me to believe someone repaired the car in that spot. I was told my house was built on an old asparagus farm.

I've found one of those old ford hubcaps but the one I found was still connected to the wheel. I kept digging to get the wheel out but that was still connected to the axle. I kept at it and found a leaf spring that the wheel was connected to but I had to end my day. I really think I may have found an old car in a dump behind my home. One of these days when all the foliage falls down, I'll fight my way though the overgrowth and try to keep at it.

that fob you found is a Theodore Roosevelt presidentail watch fob 1904 I found one of those at a 1816 house in Webster NY two years ago.

Definitely good to get bonus vids on the weekends. I subscribe to a lot of different types of content in addition to the top tier metal detectors. Archaeology, megalithic research, ancient technology, comedy, some alternate news, hunting/fishing, you name it...... And very few upload on the weekends. So thanks! I figured out Rich's hack in this one..... On your way over to look at his find, he's already punching a second hole....he ain't waiting around. The raccoon was scalped by Daniel Boone because he needed a hair piece. Custer had a different opinion later in his life about bad luck with Indians. When Rich pulled the big copper half cent I'm looking at the distant field on the other side of the fence and wondering..... What's over there?
