I just found you. Thanks for your info. I'm a 66 yr old woman retiring in February. I'm exploring my options and gathering info because I am selling my house and moving into an rv with my cats! I've never been more excited and sure and unsure and scared and happy and unprepared and ready for anything in my life like I am or am not for this adventure! However, I'm gonna "feel the fear and do it anyway"! Thanks again. I'll be watching! 😊

I’m retired/disabled and my wife is retired. We’ve been considering snowbirding at Quartzite for a while. I think you just sold us on the idea. Looks like it’s more than just camping, more like a community and that’s very attractive to us. We try to be active and like to make friends so it looks like our kind of place.

We have been in Yuma for the last two weeks. Being from Oregon, we aren’t used the heat, but when the humidity is low, it’s easier to tolerate it. But last week, the temps were high, it the humidity was also high, so it made it very hard to breathe. The last week of October, seems to be cooling off. NO more 99-110’ it going down to the 80’s. 🤣

Thank you for sharing your video. It's been about 4 years since I've been to Quartzsite. And when I was there, I was staying at the LTVA. I did realize that there was so much to see at Quartzsite. Hoping to go again next year. Just need to get things situated on my property so I can use it for a bass camp. I miss traveling again. 🚐☘️🌹

Started my full time RV Journey Sept 22nd (2024). Headed west from S.W. Michigan to Missoula, MT, then cold temps started chasing me south. I was in Laughlin, NV when typing this comment. Over the past few years I've watched nearly all of Russ' productions, and countless off road / overlanding videos of the western U.S.. Having never been west of Omaha, NE, actually seeing the mountains for the first time with my own eyes was (and still is!) awe inspiring, breath taking. It's REALLY challenging watching the road, as I want to take in all the scenery as I drive. Maybe I will see Russ in Quartzsite! Full time RV = no matter where we go, we are ALWAYS home!

Hello. I’m writing you to say you have amazing exploring content. I watch your channel with my grandfather who is a huge fan and has watched all your content and continues to do so everyday. Unfortunately he is bound to a wheelchair and doesn’t do much traveling since he’s wife passed. Your KZbin is all he watches, it makes him able to travel the country from your passenger seat. So I ask maybe if you could give him a shout out if you wouldn’t mind, his name is Chuck Grill. He’s definitely your biggest fan. Well thank you for doing what you do. Safe travels.

Glad you made it home safely. I'm a Texas resident who was born and raised in Phoenix. Heard about the extreme hot summer weather from cousins in Phoenix. I just got home from a trip to Phoenix for my 50 year high school reunion. A cold front was going through while I was there and I wished I'd brought a light sweater with me. It'll be getting really hot there again later this week, and the locals aren't exactly charmed about it.

Hey Russ, i am back after year and half off road, same spot where you gave me my first drone flying lesson. I bought the drone and the GoPro you recommended and have flown it some. Rain and Star are going to come out for small potluck one day, to see the nearby Medicine Wheel and abandoned tortoise colony. Thought you might like to join us! Rain can give you my contact info if you don't have it! Turned over the New Years Day Q Mountain And Tailgate Breakfast to another gal, but plan, at 80, to continue climbing. Never give up!
