That place you boondocked outside Pleasant is called the landing strip. We used to park there when I was a kid and we'd ride our dirt bikes up the back way into Crown King for the day. Man, those were the days. I remember doing an overnighter on the strip and a dust devil grabbed my tent. I chased that thing for a quarter mile. LOL

I should’ve arrived in the town of Sedona when you did instead of the middle of the day. The town was was ANYTHING but peaceful. It was hell & a massive tourist trap. The surrounding mountains are peaceful & amazing with wonderful hiking.

Last year I flew the Phoenix Arizona and then I drove around for 5 days... Sedona was 65° or so I drove to Flagstaff and they had 2 ft of snow on the ground but the roads were clean and dry.. .. Me and my son put some serious miles on the rental car and took turns paying for the tank of gas LOL.. the drive from Sedona to Flagstaff was amazing as was the whole trip and I can't wait to go back

Always thought it would be cool to take a balloon ride. They have them around her. Where i use to live they would fly over the area and the dogs would go crazy barking at them. Well thanks again for the ride see you later take care be safe.

Hello Russ ! Strange how people travel and live through different experiences of the places they visit. You keep showing me places I never knew existed, yet I have seen things you don't seem to have acknowledged yourself. Sometimes you miss great points of view or are "impatient" and don't wait to enjoy the best viewing hours (like early or late in the day). Anyway I wouldn't miss your documentaries for anything. I learned a lot from your travel videos. Keep on trucking !! RICHARD

Thank you so much for this beautiful video. I lived in AZ for 30 years and moved to Colorado and miss AZ so much, I'm moving back soon. Plan on taking my time this time. Thanks again. There are still many videos I want to watch. I did a two-day bike ride to Parker Dam and stayed in Wenden starting in Sun City. The video brought back some memories of 1990 and that ride. Lake Pleasant I visited when I lived in Sun City for a year. I took the burro trail but no burros to see. Try again someday. Museums were fantastic too. In short, I can't wait to see what you saw out the windshield of my car. Miss AZ!!!

A few years ago we went to Grand Canyon. Spent two days then came south from Flagstaff to Jerome on the old highway. A beautiful drive along the river. We spent half a day in Jerome and it was great and very interesting. The shops built on the side of the mountain, you walk in street lever and look out the back and it is very far down. Loved it. We then zig zagged across Arizona and New Mexico back to the Dallas area. Great trip.

Thanks for the memories! My husband and I went on this road to a Roadrunner mining claim about 25 years ago. We dry washed in French Creek and found a few little gold nuggets. The claim was way back in the boonies and I think the road eventually went on up to the Prescott area, but it was only a very rough track. We loved exploring Arizona!

Hello it's April 29,2024, and in the copper museum that you went to,there wasn't any copper jewelry, well the jewelry network of Knoxville, Tennessee sells all kinds of solid copper jewelry and the reason for it not urninv green is because of a coating that's applied to the item. Ps thankx for the never ending road trip!! Love it!!
